Go See...........The Help.

Completely agree! Just got back from it and totally recommend it!

Did you read the book? How does it compare? I liked the book and I'm worried that it won't be as good.

I just got back from seeing it! I loved the book too and didn't think I could like the movie as much, but it was excellent. The casting was perfect and the movie stayed true to the story. I'm going to have to own this one!

I also read the book and LOVED it! I couldn't put it down. Saw the movie last night and it was every bit as good as it should have been :). Not every, single detail was included, but things left out weren't important to the overall story. GO SEE IT!

The casting was perfect. That was one of the first things I said to my mom after we saw it. Viola Davis especially was amazing.

Wanted to see this before the reviews and other opinions came out.

Saw it Thursday afternoon and was just amazed by it.

Viola Davis and Octavia Spencer were terrific....but Emma Stone (Skeeter) has a very long career ahead of her.

Go see The Help.

Can't wait to see it now! Is it so good that you would be willing to go to the movies yourself good? or wait until DVD if no one else will go good?

Good enough to go by yourself. ::yes::

On an interesting side note, I was just watching an interview with The Help author Kathryn Stockett
and she and Octavia Spencer are long time friends. The character of Minnie in the book was based on Octavia before a movie was even a consideration. The book was turned down by six publishers.

I tryed It was sold out. Won't give up those. I don't think the theater realized how popular it would be and will open more showings.

I saw it Thursday night with my book club and loved it! I was so impressed by Emma Stone and Viola Davis just blew me away. All of the supporting cast was amazing. I want to go again!

Went yesterday afternoon. The theater was nearly sold out. It was a good movie. :thumbsup2

I saw this yesterday. It was so impressive. Some moments I was tearing up and others I was laughing out loud.

One more who loved it! I hadn't read the book but I think it was one of the best movies I've seen in a really long time!

I went yesterday and saw this movie with two of my best friends, and it was SO amazing.

It did everything a good movie should-made us smile, say awwww, made us laugh, made us sad, made us cry, made us empathize with the characters. It was such a rollercoaster of emotions, which is what a good movie should be!!!

It was so well done. The casting was phenomenal, as was the portrayal of the time in which it was set.

SO SO SO impressed and SOOOOOO reccommend it!

I loved, loved, loved the book and really enjoyed the movie. I thought the casting was spot on. I saw it on opening night and our theater was pretty empty, so hopefully it picked up on the weekend. Great film.

After finishing the book, I was so excited to see it.

It did not disappoint. You could tell at times who had read the book by audience reaction.

My mom's friend says this better be in contention during awards season.
