All day yesterday I was wearing my Clemens shirt and plan on wearing it again Monday!! Providing hit on the hand/wrist doesn't knock Roger out!!
It would take a broken bone to knock him out !!!

I hate the Yanks.

I saw Clemens pitch at Fenway against Stottlemyre (blue jays), back when Clemens was dominating. There was a capacity crowd and I was in the last row behind home plate, and it still sounded like there was a microphone in the catcher's glove when Clemens threw.

I'll be at that game on Monday!!!! I'm soooo excited I can't stand it. Speaking of standing, I'll probably be doing a lot of that come Monday. I have seats on the field level on the 3rd base side.

My 7 year old is a die hard Yankee fan and still doesn't understand the magnitude that this game will have if he wins.

Nope...I'm a Braves fan. My AL team is the Mariners (see my avatar).

I just hate the Yankees and their win at all costs attitude. I love how the media trumps up how great of a manager Torre is. Believe me, with their lineup, I could be their DH and they'd still win 75% of their games. Just love the payroll that's quickly approaching $150 million. George Steinbrenner is what's wrong with this game (well him and Tom Hicks of the Rangers). I know his fans love him b/c he spends his money to put a winning product on the field, but it's very annoying to see almost every high profile free agent go to the Yanks. Who do they have that came up through their farm teams? Let's see - Bernie, Jeter, Soriano (who they signed away from the Padres), Posada, Pettitte and Rivera. A great core, but to go out and pay Giambi, Clemens, Ventura, Weaver, Acevedo and Zeile what they do and OVERPAY Matsui and Contrereas, it's just ridiculous. George's philosophy is rape and pillage other team's rosters. It's ridiculous.

It takes no guts nowadays to be a Yankee fan. In the 80's it took guts, now it does NOT.
