Hey everyone! It has taken me way to long to start this trip report and I am hoping to have it done before we leave for our next trip in May. There will be some planning mixed in as well.

I will tell you most of what I remember from our Dec 6-15 trip! It may come down to a highlight trip tho! There will be a lot of pictures and information of how we survived with our 2 1/2 year old without her driving us crazy. I will also have a full description of Mom and I's Tea at the Grand Floridian.

Please ignore my lack of grammar and spelling tho. Hope you all enjoy.

The Cast

Me ~ Rachel, 28, Stay at home mommy who loves her family and Disney. I have also recently started a part job as a Thirty-one consultant. Favorite characters Roo, Stitch and Belle.

DH ~ James, 27, wonderful dad and loving husband, who works hard so I can stay home and we can still o to our favorite place, he is a home security installer.

DD ~ Annabelle, 2 1/2, our princess, she is very energentic, pretty fexible for her age, can be sweet, loving, and smart. She also can have her demanded moments but really we are lucky because she is a pretty good kid. She loves Disney too. This trip favorite Character is Rapzenal and the classics (Mickey, Minnie, Goofy etc)

Special Apperences

DNana ~ Joy, 65, my mom wonderful mom and awesome Nana!!! We celebrated her birthday at the Tea.

DPopPop ~ Jim, 67, my dad definitely where my love of Disney comes from, wonderful PopPop and loving Dad! Favorite Character Donald!

Since we are so close to our next trip I am gonna start writing it on my phone and add pictures when I can get on the desktop. I was gonna add Twitter references too but I think I may skip that now.

Traveling, Day 1 Part 1

Technically our trip started the evening of the 5th since we were driving down. Around 8:45 I had DH take a picture of me and DD that I tweeted "Ready to go and we match!"



The truck was already packed so we loaded up, prayed, and were on our way to fill up at the gas station. We got to the gas station, filled up and as we were leaving DD said "We go to Target." We said "No baby we are going Disney to see the castle." The trip was in the evening was pretty uneventful except DD was not going to sleep. Finally around midnight she fell asleep. I made it until SC then I fell asleep for a few hours. I woke up shortly before we arrived in FL which was around 6 am.

We stoped at a McDonald's in Palm Coast around 7:44 after DD woke up and got some breakfast. I remember we had OJ and DD drank 2 sips and we got her pancakes that she never ate and milk that she did drink. We loaded up and head on our way.

I remembered getting closer and getting super excited and it being a little warm in the truck and that DD was really quiet, she was playing her leappad 2 so I thought that was it. We got off at our exit and we turn where you would go to DTD passed the gates and heard DD getting sick, then crying that she got sick. We told her it was ok but was almost to SSR so we wanted to make it there and I would take DD to get cleaned up in the rest room. This was not the way I imagines starting this vacation. We parked got DD out and were so thankful that it seemed to be only on the Carseat and DDs clothes. We got her got took off her nasty clothes but them in a plastic bag and cleaned her off with baby wipes then took her put new clothes on her then I took her to the bathroom to clean her a lil more with soap and water while DH checked in. It was around 9:30am but we were hoping they may have our room ready.

Day 1 Part 2

The Line for Check-In was long and DD love watching the Disney cartoons while DH waited! When he made it to the front we all walked over and went over everything. The guy said our room wasn't ready but would be in the Grandstand section, which was a request so wooohoo! He said he would text when the room was available. I had gotten a trash bag from the attended in the bathroom to put all the yucky stuff in, so I went ahead and took apart the carseat and through it in there too. DD and I walked over while DH took the truck to park it, we all changed rearranged stuff so the nasty stuff was in the trunk and the bags were in the truck's cab. It was HOT and besides DD who got a change of clothes, we were in jeans. DH and I changed and as soon as we were done got a text that the room was ready.

We decided to go ahead and unload everything into the room, by the room number we knew it was 4th floor, Woohoo another request granted! We decided we wanted to make 1 trip, we loaded most everything on the stroller and head up. We get to our room and nothing the door was recognizing our keys. DH found a number that you could call so he did that, explained to the guy exactly what was happening. They said ok we will send a mantience guy right now. DD is now saying she is hungry and thankfully we have the food on us, so I give her a applesauce pouch and some crackers to see if she can hold it down. Mantience guy was super awesome, he replaced the scanner thing and then asked for one of our keys they still didn't work so he asked if we minded hanging out in the room for a few minutes from him to run and get us new keys! Of course, we said no and got the room set up and let DD cool off some more. Just about this time I get a call from by Bible Study Core Group leader, check in to see when we would be heading to FL, I told her we were there and in our room. We heard a knock and it was the MG with our keys, he made us try them all to make sure we were good. We thanked him and off he went. I called my parents (DNana and DPoppop) to tell them we had arrived safely and about DD. We all decided that DD was hot with just milk on her stomach and the excited that her little tummy just couldn't take it and that was the reason. As she did not have a fever, was still hungry, acting like herself within minutes of it happening. (Let me also said this was the third time something similar had happened with her)

DH took this while I was changing her diaper he thought it was funny.


By this time it was almost 12 and we were all hungry, so we decided to head Epcot to pick up our APs and TIW card. We went to the bus stop and within 5 minutes our bus was there, woohoo. We get to Epcot and go to Guest relations picked up everything and headed in. We got through gates and decided we would go straight to Les Chefs, we had a 2:20 ADR to see if they could maybe fit us in earlier, we walked slowly with DD in the stroller and did stop and look at a few things. We got to Les Chef at 1:35ish, were seated within 5 minutes. Our waiter came and got our drink order and then right after he left we saw Remy!!! He was awesome DD was in awe.. He was saying how she was cute and sweet and asked if we had any cats or dogs at home we said "No" then he said he could come home with us then! It was so cute and quick and I forgot to take a picture. We ate our lunch, which I got a Croque Monsieur and it was delicious! We paid and were out of there by 2:35.

We decided to head towards Nemo because we knew DD would love the fish. Along the way we may a few stops and I took some pictures. We also stopped at the drums and DD loved them, she could not get enough of them. Finally, We got to Nemo and DD loved it!!!! She was walking all over pointing and talking! We spent a good hour and decided we should do a few other things. As we headed towards Innoventions, we saw Dnana and DPoppop, we talked to them really quick, DD gave hugs and kisses then they headed to there Garden Grille Candlelight Processional meal and we headed back to our room.












We made it to our room around 5:11. We relaxed in the room for a little while then went to Artist Palace to look around and eat some dinner. When we were done we headed to the room stopped at the truck to get the car seat to put on the balcony to air out. Then I took all the nasty stuff to do laundry. I watched some TV and called my sister and waited for the clothes to be done it was a chilly night and I texted my friend a pic and tweeted "During Laundry earlier than I expected this trip". I headed back to the room where DD and DH were watching TV, got DD dressed for bed put her down at her normal bedtime which is 8:30 and by 9 we were all asleep.
