Go carts in the MK parking lot??!!

Tonight as I was heading to the Contemporary, we passed a bunch of campers, then go-carts in the MK parking lot. Anybody know what's going on? Is this for anyone?

could it have been pro carts for the WDW speedway? Since there were campers, that makes me think it was a race. Which would also mean that it is not for everyone. You would more than likely to be able to buy ticket to watch that race.

It's some kind of Go Kart Championship tournament they are hosting this weekend. Kind of a strange sight to see.

Hey if your going to have a tournament of go carts...why not the MK parking lot?

I think it would be fun around Epcot. Geez that would be a humungus lap. Lol.
