CP, I love that my kids are getting old enough to be more independent in the kitchen. They make a mess sometimes but they can get themselves sandwiches, cereal, etc. I am far from a chef so that's all they would get from me much of the time!

Stace, your story reminded me of one time I was in a store and saw a kid vomit on the floor. His mother simply ushered him out the door I'm the one who had to inform an employee that it had happened. can you imagine being the person who didn't look down and walk right through it? EEEEWWWW!

It's a cool rainy day in Iowa but is supposed to warm up into the 90's in a couple days

I AM SO FUMING MAD!

I made a joking comment on my cousin's facebook last night...so I wake up to a message FROM MY GRANDMOTHER telling me I'm a mean person.

I am so mad. I don't get along with my grandmother, I never have. In fact, I haven't seen or talked to her since Sept. 2008 at my brother's wedding where she ignored me.

The thing that makes me even madder is that I can't respond to her snarky mean comment until I get home because Facebook is blocked at work. I can just see that I received the message in my email. I am so mad.

I've always never said anything to her out of respect for my Mom, but not anymore. I'm sick of being the bigger person and letting things go. She is going to know how I feel.

She isn't called Ursula for nothing that is for sure!

I don't know what I will read when I am finished since my books that I have on hold at the library haven't come in yet. My FIL gave me The Story of Edgar Sawtelle at Christmas that I haven't read yet. Have you? I can't decide if I would like it or not -- it's not my usual kind of story.
