The weather is amazing here and even better no tar balls!! Our poor beaches in PCola I'm so sad about that!!

Jen.... Vacation is vacation and I'm sure once you get there you'll feel the tension ease away (at least it did for me) I'm really enjoying the sleeping in and just having nothing to do!!!

I would offer to help clean houses, but I don't want to hear that word again for another 2 weeks LOL!!!!

Morning, Jen! It breaks my heart every time I see any of the coverage on the oil spill. Those poor birds.

If you don't feel like cleaning, can I interest you in taking a load of stuff to Goodwill?

Yes, tomorrow is Friday. Yayayaya! Plus no school this weekend, so I have two glorious days with nothing planned to do except my 5k training.

YAY, I'm going to go walk the pier or some nature trails today when I can actually walk for a bit and not feel like I'm in a sauna!!

Well, I cleaned out the playroom today! What a major drag. I have come to the conclusion that my son has not inherited my OCD tendencies but rather my husband's almost-a-slob tendencies. I spent hours sifting through containers that were heaped with odd assortments of Legos, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, transformers, and Power Rangers. It makes me even less enthused than I was before about tackling his room, but it's the only one left. Before that, though, I must take everything else to Goodwill. Maybe I can stretch that out a few days.

God help me, I've ordered "The Notebook" on netflix for the weekend. I have some crying to get out of my system so Nicholas Sparks will be my hero!

Jackie - you are inspiring on the de-cluttering front. Want to make a trip to New Englad to de-clutter my house??

Jen (MM) - how did all that cleaning go today? And how is packing for OBX? I've only been there once but had a glorious week there. So sorry Meg's cast will be cramping your style a bit. Hope you'll be sharing details and pictures of the trip nevertheless...

Well the dusting and vacuuming got postponed until tomorrow afternoon.....I had a 6 year old who wanted to read to me for an hour (what a great feeling) and then visited my mom since she is heading out for vacation Saturday morning. It was really a great afternoon...can't believe I didn't get much of my "chores" finished, but it will be there tomorrow!

Speaking of tomorrow......it is that time of year again.....DANCE RECITAL!!!!! I can't wait.....the whole Mary Poppins theme is so well done! Of course there will be pictures!

Apparently, I will be spending my weekend watching World Cup soccer games. At least it is happening in South Africa so there are lots of cool montages of African scenery.

Charles said to me, "Oh, this is going to make you want to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge, isn't it?" Oh, how well he knows me.
