Hi Gnomies hope all are well!

P-congrats on the V&A reservation!! I will definitely eat there some time in my life!

So, after Katie scolded me on facebook, I am here to spill my news. The job that Blake and I applied for on the eastern shore of maryland (about an hour from my house in Baltimore), we had waited a month until friday when we got a call that BOTH of us got the job!!! We're going to be Aquatic Biologists at a private company that tests products on juvenile fish and invertebrates so that it may help save many others in the future. We BOTH got a full benefits package and it gives me almost a $15,000 a year increase in salary!!

We gave our 2 week notice today at work and we have to be out and up there in 3 weeks. But we are excited! We're going to rent a house right by the water and have a yard for the first time.

Hi gnomies!!! I've been without a computer for a few days since my desktop had a huge hissy fit and will no longer turn on! So I've had to make a deal with my laptop so it will work until I can afford a new one....I bought it a new charger and a wireless mouse, so hopefully that will appease the computer Gods for a while!

The trip to Indiana was great! Very tiring though....Auntie Stacy is super exhausted! And then there's the family drama but I'm not really involved so I don't worry about it too much. I just play with the kids while the rest argue!

Jess - I am sooooooooo sooooooo soooooo happy for you and Blake! That is amazing! You guys definitely deserve it!! Congratulations!

C - Totally get it! I was like that when I got my ADR for Le Cellier completely by chance way less than 180 days out and in the middle of the afternoon! I'm eating at many old haunts and trying Via Napoli and Le Cellier for the first time! I've also got Tusker House breakfast, Crystal Palace breakfast, Chef Mickey's dinner, Sci-Fi lunch, Chefs dinner, Tutto dinner, and dinner at the Plaza on Oct. 1! I haven't booked yet, I was waiting in hopes of free dining....but with no word and time inching away I think I will book next week! I'm also still waiting for DBFF to see if her job is 100% secure before she spends the cash!

Congrats on the job Jess!! That is so exciting.

Life is busy here, I was actually diagnosed with pneumonia yesterday so I'm out for the count. I feel like I have been sick non-stop since December. I'm sick of being sick.

I started a new position at work on Monday, not that I have been back to work yet, I'm taking a few days off to rest and relax and get better. I'm going back on Friday.

I feel like as soon as life gets going, there is another obstacle thrown in my way that I have to navigate around. I'm exhausted with everything.

Thanks! The old desktop that we were using decided that it had had enough (it was over 9 years old) and will no longer turn on! So I've gone back to my old laptop and I found all of my old Disney trip pictures so I thought I'd change things up a little.

I hope everyone who has them enjoys their long weekends! Today is kinda Friday for me too, only I have to go back to work on Saturday and then be off Sunday again. But thats ok, work is easier if you just do it one day at a time! I'm planning on celebrating Good Friday at the movies to see African Cats!

Thanks for clicking on our little (well for now!) thread! Who are these crazy gals, you may ask??
