Julez - the Hayride wound up getting rained out so we're going this coming Saturday night! Which is fine since it's just closer to Halloween anyway! Sorry yours was "so lame" We went and saw Paranormal Activity 2 instead which was kinda dissapointing for me....I didn't care for it. When you mess with a baby and a dog you cross the line!

LL - I think the wig party sounds soooo fun! I bet you guys will have a blast no matter what though! And I think the invite rhyme is great!

I just posted pics of my Mickey pumpkin I made. I had to take Blake to the airport yesterday, he went to New Orleans for a conference. Silly stuff! So I had to finish him by myself! But here he is:

But anyway, just chuggin' along here, HATE that mondays sneek up on us so quickly! Been reading and working on my disney cross-stitch. Gotta finish up our costumes before friday, we're going as Woody and Jesse from Toy Story We decided to make them, so much cheaper and can always find some good coupons at Michaels, definitely got inspired from Disney on Ice last month!

Hi everybody! Wish me LUCK!! I have an interview in the morning for part time holiday help at Target. I REALLY REALLY REALLY need the money, so pray and cross your fingers for me!!!

And I want to get back into retail in general, so....add in a 2nd prayer for it to extend past the holidays!! lol

OCD...how I embrace thee LOL!! I'm so OCD in my classroom that the teacher who floats into my room now knows my filing system better than hers LOL! She's so helpful!!!!

I'm just struggling with the whole 6 weeks periods vs. 9 weeks! Especially when they call 5 weeks 6...that's a lot of content and a lot of tests to present to my students!! Oh well!! We're doing okay!! I'm loving my students!!

I'm in a book slump which is not a good thing because our receptionist left and I'm spending half my days down there which means I have 4 hours a day to read. I'm reading Revolution right now, just a few chapters in. I also have Hunger Games on request from the library, just waiting for it to come in.

Also, if you are in the mood for lightweight British chick lit, I really liked The Little Lady's Agency by Hester Browne and the other two books in the series. I tried reading The Book Thief, but I can only take Nazi Germany in small doses.

The book I'm reading right now is definately a little slow....I have a real interest in the topic but the author is incredibly long-winded! I'm reading The Six Wives of Henry the Eighth. It's non-fic and I think I'll be reading it for the next 843593487598374 years. What I want to read right now is either The Accidental Billionaires (the facebook bio book that the movie is based on. Maybe it's because I don't have facebook that I'm so fascinated?), or Russell Brand's new Booky Wook 2...again, an odd fascination....

I'm irritated right now...I'm trying to use a pre-sale code for Brad Paisley tickets and it's only giving me the nosebleed seats!

No it's by a man....uh...David Starkey. After taking history in highschool and watching the Tudors and then reading more online I just wanted something more indepth....this might be a little too indepth! I've read nearly 200 pages and Catherine Of Aragon hasn't even married Arthur yet! I'll finish it eventually! It's really divided up so it's easy to put down and come back to later! But I have been really into biographies lately!

Hey Stace! It was...ok? It's been so long since I interviewed for a job, I wasn't ready for all those rediculous questions they ask! I don't know really, I didn't get a feel either way- she said it takes 2 weeks for HR to go through all the apps nd get back to applicants.

I don't think they liked my availability though. In a world where so MANY people are out of work, they prolly would like someone who is available any time but Im only avail. on Tues/Thurs evenings and every other weekend. So...I dunnow.

Anyone have fun plans tonight? I'm just hangin' with Crazy Jim and the kids and taking them to Rachael's Halloween fun fair. Might go see Paranormal Activity with some friends. Heard it was super stupid though....

I'm reading "How to Be Single"...it's pretty funny.

Ok, just got a great workout in... on to laundry, shower, and dishes!
