I thought we were all done with this rain, since that tropical depression came through last week and rained the whole week, but it's back at it again today

I've been finally catching up on things I've put on the back burner-books I hadn't finished, closets I haven't organized, errands I haven't got to, since I turned my paper in last week Just have to wait now until my advisor sends it back to me with final corrections!

11 days. I can't believe it. This is the first time I haven't had a PTR to "vent" on. Hope you'll forgive the outburst of excitement.

yay! 11 days C! We just got home abut an hour ago... it was HOT HOT HOT! Seriously... it was WAY hotter than when You, Jen, CP, and I were there last year.... (97 on Monday!) And the love bugs were awful... (but really only at the resorts and pools... the parks were fine.) the CMs told us they have been out about 2 weeks already, so they 'should' be gone til you get there!

We didn't make it over to F&W.... we decided to do a SECOND MNSSHP on Friday instead... which was a decision we made on the way back from the party Thursday night! I think they scimped a bit on the decorations and stuff for the party this year compared to last year and the year before... but it was still a lot of fun!

Questions?? Anything ya need to know that I may be able to assist with???

Hi!! So great to hear from you. Will you be doing a TR? If not hope you will at least indulge your gnomies with some pictures and tales.

Hotter than last year? Seriously? I cannot imagine. It was SO hot last year!

Can't believe you didn't make it over to F&W. I'll just have to eat twice as much to make up for what you didn't have.

Other than decorations (disappointing to hear they may have cut back) how did you find MNSSHP?

Try any new restaurants or other experiences?

You tell me... what do I need to know??

Wow...it was hot there!!! I wonder when it is going to start cool down!! It was only 67 here today hopefully it will start moving East for C's trip!! And the lovebugs...well I certaintely don't miss those LOL!

What is the current thought on online check-in? I'm just in a standard room for the first 3 nights and then am moving over to DVC. But of course am always hoping for some pixie dust upgrades. But I also arrive at ~11am and would love for my room to be ready. Online check-in: yes or no???


First night ADR?
So turns out I am going to be solo on my first night. I have an ADR at Rose and Crown for 7:55 trying to catch Illuminations and one earlier at Via Napoli just because I wanted to try it. I'm torn. For some reason feeling uncomfortable with the solo dining even though I've done it before. Maybe I just want to snack off F&W kiosks? Any thoughts? I will have the opportunity to eat at Via Napoli later in the week with Melissa (mickeysmyboy) and Tracy (manntra) so not worried about that one. This would probably be my only R&C opportunity, though.

I did online check in and it was nice for them to have my packet ready to go and to have that all taken care of, I'm going to use it again because of the late hour I'm arriving that evening LOL So I'm a fan of using it!!!

Hmmm...well if you are feeling uncomfortable maybe you should just do whatever you feel like and just explore EPCOT and hit up the WS F&W kiosks!!!! That way you can keep it simple and just let yourself be taken over by the being in Disney feeling!!!!

I did Online check in the last 2 trips... and I really like it! It seems like your room is available sooner... could be a fluke, but when we arrived Monday at Kidani at 10am, our room was ready! And I know the resort was pretty full, because I had tried several times (unsuccessfully) to change to a studio from a 1br up til the 31 day cutoff.

The MNSSHP was not nearly as crowded... we got a spot for hallowishes at 5min before the show right in front of Caseys (on Fri nite!).... and there wasn't a soul standing near us in a 20ft radius even... crazy!

Fantasyland is a disaster area.... even though IASM and tea cups are the only rides shut down.... almost everything has a construction wall around it! There was a little pathway between walls to get to Pooh.... it was a walk on all the time, cause no one even could tell it was open! The area where Ariel's Grotto was is torn down... and from there all the way to the ToonTown entrance is a big wall... all the trees are down and you can see the big cranes and tips of new construction....it just looks bizzare!

Oh... C... try the Tune In Lounge this time! We did 50's PT, the lounge was empty and the food was wonderful!!! It will be on my list for April... in the lounge (unless my mom does end up going! Then we will do the Dining room!)

I vote keeping the R&C ADR... if you really don't want to do it... you can cancel it at the last minute, and probably make someone's day in the process

Sorry I missed chat last night ladies, I slept through it... Stupid TEETH!!! UUUUUUUUUUUGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!! I wish we didn't have teeth at all!! All foods would just have to be put in the blender! And we would have an excuse to have more cocktails!

I went back to work today which was fine but the sharp edge of my top broken tooth rubs against the side of my mouth when I smile at people so I probably didn't look as nice as I try to be!
