About two weeks ago I visited www.gmc.com and asked for information about the Yukon SUV. Lo and behold, yesterday I received a test drive offer for a $100 Home Depot gift card. The offer must be completed by Jan 15 2003. Don't know if I was randomly selected to get this or if it's open to everyone, but give it shot.

You may be able to save next year's fertilizer money for your Disney trip!

I poked around on gmc.com and couldn't figure out where to get info either. Did you request a quote? We're actually in the market for either a Yukon or an Expedition, so I'd love to get something for the test drive!

What you need to do is find request a brochure. Pull down on the menus until you find it, it took me about a minute.

I've done testdrive incentives before, this is a NICE one.

I could not find anything that says request a brochure. Any other advice on this??

Kamy

Thank you so much for letting us know about this offer. I recently requested info on the Yukon and this wasn't in my brochure. I just called them up and asked if I could get the offer. They are now mailing me the certificate!!!:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

For those who want to check on this...I called GMC at 1-800-462-8782 and selected "Marketing and Incentives" They were very nice about it.

kamgen,
Click on vehicles. Scroll down to Yukon. Click Yukon Models. Scroll down to Request a Brochure.
It took me a while to find it too.
Good luck!

When I do that it says request a quote or build my own...I'm just not seeing it! LOL

holycow,
Are you clicking on the Yukon Models tab up top? When you do that, Request Brochure is a scroll down option.
If you just click on Vehicles (instead of Yukon models) and THEN click Yukon, you get those Request a Quote or Build Your Own options.
So look for the Yukon Models tab.
Hope it works :)

I guess it didn't take me long since I did the same thing for a Ford testdrive, and am getting a $75 Giftcard.

Always look for the specific model, and then the request a brochure.

Hey Cindy-DH & I got our $75.00 cards this week:D

Is it to late to get the ford deal. What do I need to do?

Lars-- good to hear that the $75 is still going on, I got in late in the deal....but mailed it off last week maybe.

Shelly: Request an Expedition brochure, very very similiar to the same thing as the Yukon. THe brochure comes in the mail. Then there is a tear off card in the back of the brochure. The prizes were a golf bag, golf putter, or $75 debit card.

The card had an expiration date of December 20th. So I would hop to it, to see if the deal is still going on.

I called GMC and was told they have no offers for a Yukon test drive :( I did order the brochure just in case it's in there.

Just got off the phone with GMC as well... it is not valid in Michigan or Maryland, and for females from the ages 35-44.

So there you have it!

I received the Yukon brochure today. No coupon. I called the phone line listed above. Basically I was told "only our customers get test drive incentives."
I even mentioned that the only way I could get DH to do a GMC test drive is with an incentive (Very true). But it didn't matter. No go.
(And I am 46 and live in Nebraska.)
So, glad some got them anyway. It was a good deal! :)

mine just arrive by fed-ex and there was not a test drive incentive in my brochure

It was for the female age bracket, 35-44... I was too young (I'll be 32 in a few days!). Although why the females and Home Depot... I don't get it... I also used a "generic" name.. I sometimes use my initials when I send for things, so the system may not have noticed it was either/not a "definitive" female name.

And not valid in Marlyland and Michigan.

In my opinion with talking to the customer reps and seeing the responses on the boards I don't think GMC is being very truthful.
I called a few times and got many stories. First story was it is local dealership specific offer, second story I got was there is no such deal and the third story I got was it is simply a direct mailing. Well, my friend tried it the same day as me and she is getting it mailed out to her (unless they told her something false), she lives 10 minutes from me (NYC) and is 28 years old. So it's not an age or location thing :(
And now I am reading the posts here.
