Tuesday, Sept. 19, our 2nd day at sea was a WHIRLWIND of events. We had to roll out of bed VERY early (in my book anyway) for the largest ever Jammie Breakfast. Now this was a DIS arranged event (thank you MICKEYandJOSHNUT-Elaine) and it was a BLAST! It started at 8am and went to around 9:30. Tritons is a beautiful and elegant restuarant and to see it taken over by pajama wearing DIS folks was really something! Kevin had some very nice POTC jammie bottoms and a shirt to match and I had Tink jammies (of couse). A certain DISer came in a nightgown, a MALE DISer. Funny!

This breakfast was GREAT because it offered an opportunity for everyone to get to know each other over a meal. At the sailaway party we were all kind of introducing ourselves as we bumped into each other, but at breakfast you could really talk with people! I would highly recommend arranging this type of event if you are planning a DIS meet. After breakfast a group photo was taken in the atrium. I didn't buy it, so if anyone else reading this did feel free to post it.
I went to the presentation in the theater by Tom McAlphin, the President of the cruise line. It was very infomative and Mr. McAlphin was very personable. I was impressed! He mentioned the DISboards SEVERAL times during his presentation. He said that they do look here for feedback!

At the end of his talk he had a Q and A. Someone asked the age old question, is there another ship in the works. His answer, "Yes" "The Disney Rumor"

There ya go folks, straight from the horses mouth.
It was time for lunch.

I swear it seems that all we did was eat! Sometime early in the afternoon Kevin went to the movies and I went straight to Deck 4 to those SUPER comfy chairs. Yep, I fell asleep.

I soon realized that it was time to prepare for the Golden Mickeys and the first formal night. We never miss a show. Kevin is one of those people who gets to the Walt Disney theater before the doors open to ensure we get seats right down front about 3 rows back. This is dual purpose because it allows me to get ready in peace

The Golden Mickeys is GREAT! I get chills down my spine when I see Roy on that screen. I love seeing the characters at the end and I love the music during the show. Its a MUST SEE in my book, no matter how many times we've seen it.
After the show we went to Cadillac Lounge where we had our nightly drink before dinner and we wandered around taking pictures and showing off our fancy clothes. As truck drivers we don't really dress in formal wear often, so we enjoy the opportunity. Dinner was amazing and I'm sure I had 2 desserts. I wish I had written down what I had eaten every night but I didn't. I will say that the beef wellington (whatever night we had it) was amazing. I could've eaten another but I didn't want to look like a hog
Ok, I think I goofed up my own trip report. Caberet show was Gary Delena on the 2nd sea day, the first was Rich Pupura. Both were hilarious, whatever day they were. We stayed up late in the clubs (dh with his mudslides and BBC's and me with my wine) and when we finally turned in, I could tell that we had a little too much to drink. I can always tell that when my dh is walking down the hall to our room and he is struggling to hold back giggles

He was truly relaxed, and we were having the time of our lives.
