I will be dining at Le Cellier in a few months...I am a veggie who is on a Gluten Free diet. I have had amazing food just about everywhere at WDW, but I wonder what kind of veggie meals are available here...everything seems so meaty on the menu. Does anyone have any experiences? Thanks.

If you don't see any entrees that you like, you can always mix and match sides or appetizers. I'm also a vegetarian (with a nut allergy), and I had the tomato stack with mashed potatoes. I thought it was really good! :thumbsup2 Also, be sure to mention your gluten free diet to your server. The chef there was really nice! They'd probably be willing to make you something else if you can't eat anything on the menu. :goodvibes

Quick question...when you mix and match a side and appys for a dinner, how does the restaurant usually price that out? I suspect I will be doing mixing and matching on our upcoming trip! Thanks for any info (and would appreciate any suggestions for veggie dining, as this is my first trip with this new eating style).

When I have had dishes that just had the meat removed, the dish is usually like $2 cheaper. I am not sure how they price a created dish...I am usually on the DDP so I never really thought about it.

As for going to WDW as a veggie, I have had some terrific meals. Boma is probably the best selection of vegetarian foods available. I have heard the Woofgang Puck cafe in DTD is great. I have had a lot of great meals that were not on the menu (such as a quinoa pilaf dish at Liberty Tree Tavern, a risotto dish at Garden Grill, a fantastic pasta dish at Sci Fi Dine In). My choices get a little bit more limited with the gluten free component of my meals, but they have usually been pretty great at WDW.

Enjoy your trip!

I had the dining plan, but I did look at some of the bills to see what the items I ordered would actually cost. A lot of the side dishes were surprisingly cheap, like under $5. I think the Le Cellier mashed potatoes were like $3 or $4 or so for a pretty big portion. :)
