What are the tastiest snacks in each of the parks, that also happen to be gluten free?

I know the popcorn, mickey bars and dole whips are GF, but are there any other goodies that happen to be? I love Divvies and Enjoy Life cookies, but would love to have some ice cream and other confections while at the parks!

You can find tons of fruit, Lays potato ships, and Edy's and Breyers ice cream shops.

You may also want to post this question on the DISabilites board. There are a lot of gluten-free'ers over there.

I've checked over there and gotten some good info, but I wanted to ask over hear and see what the real foodies had to say! I may pose the question elsewhere, as well. Thank you so much!

Babycakes at Downtown Disney inside Pollo Campero is a gluten-free cupcakery. They have cupcakes, brownies, cupcake-tops, cookies, and muffins. And they're delicious!!

Well I moseyed on over to the disABILITIES boards, and someone there mentioned going and getting quick breakfast at Babycakes for your room for the week! Although I'm sure pricey, that would be such a delicious treat to wake up to! I can't wait - and can't believe their cupcakes and such are not only gluten free, but vegan, soy, and refined-sugar free! Hard to believe they are delicious as everyone says, but I am a willing participant!

WDW no longer carries Lays chips. They now have their own line of WDW potato chips. I do believe that they're gluten free but they're a kettle style chip which is something my kids don't like which really stinks. Lays chips used to be a stand-by snack for us.

Divvies cookies are not gluten free. The Divvies jelly beans and caramel corn are.

The frozen pineapple bars, strawberry bars and Itzkadoozie popsicles at the ice cream carts are also gluten free. LOVE the pineapple bars.

You're already aware of the Enjoy Life cookies and the French Meadow brownies and cookies. Popcorn's also a staple snack food for us as is fruit.

Sunshine Seasons has Enjoy Life chocolate bars with rice crisps.

My kids get plenty of ice cream at WDW. Just make sure you let the person serving know about the "allergy" and it'll be scooped from a fresh carton using a freshly cleaned scooper. In our case we get dairy free ice cream so I can't be sure if the regular Edy's is gluten free or not since it's not something we can eat anyway.

I think you may still be able to get the flourless chocolate cake at Starring Rolls in DHS.

We got a birthday cake from Babycakes in February. DELICIOUS!! An added bonus to it being safe for my girls with laundry lists of allergies is that my DH who's a T2 diabetic could eat it without blood sugar spikes since it's sweetened with agave nectar instead of sugar. The cake was VERY expensive ($45 for a 6" cake) but so worth it because this was the first birthday cake she's ever had not baked by me. I think I read that the cupcakes are around $3.50 each so very much in line with the rest of WDW pricing (that's cheaper than the cupcakes at Starring Rolls at DHS).

Wow thank you so much for all this info!!

I have incredibly sad about the Divvies! When I went last year, I guess I assumed since they were vegan they were pretty much allergen free. Not the case! Too bad, they were so delicious.

But you're right about the Babycakes stuff! That's actually not a bad price for a cake at all...considering that Disney sent me a letter telling me I could order a GF chocolate or vanilla cake if i wanted...and I'm pretty sure it was more than $50!

If you are on the dining plan, I heard that you can use snack credits at Babycakes!! Good news for me, since we are on the dining plan and I can't wait to try them out

That is GREAT news! We're on the deluxe, and when we went last year on the same plan, I wound up with 14 snack credits leftover because I couldn't find anywhere to use them! I will absolutely use them there :)

Don't forget all those wonderful GF desserts that the chefs make at TS places. DH gives the Micky Bars a :thumbsup2:thumbsup2.
