remember that gluten free doesnt necessily mean wheat free... check wheat free.org.. for recipes.. or go to the library to get "my child is allergic to everything" cookbook..
Actually you have that reversed. Wheat has gluten in it, therefore for something to be gluten free it must also be wheat free. However, wheat free does not necessarily mean gluten free as it may contain something other form of gluten. Gluten is in wheat, rye, barley, & indirectly oats (unless specifically gluten free and even then some people still have problems with it). I have Celiac and strictly adhere to a gluten free diet.
