Gluten free at Beaches and Cream

Does anyone know if the ice cream is gluten free here. Our family favorite is the no way jose and I would hate my daughter to miss out on it this trip. Also do they have gluten free buns. Thanks if anyone know.

If you email Special Dining they will send you a PDF of safe alternatives and where they are at. You can look up specific restaurants on it. I can't answer the ice-cream question because we can't do milk either but I would worry about cross contamination from the scoops to the cones and back into the buckets. Perhaps you can have them get some from the back if there is a safe flavor.

They do have GF buns. I went there in February and they served me my cheeseburger with it.

I do not know about the ice cream, and even if you were to call and ask them now, the ingredients and items may change upon the day you go there to eat. Ice cream itself is generally 'safe', but the utensils used to serve your food would need to be separate to avoid cross-contamination. Also, make sure if you use condiments like ketchup or mustard on your burger or fries to ask for a small dish of it from behind the counter. Too much CC risk by using the bottles on the counter- not to mention children but their mouths on them so you risk picking up someone's saliva and germs, too.

We haven't tried it, but we have eaten at other restaurants on property, including their quick service by the pool. They handled our gluten free dairy free requests well, but they did have to send out for buns. Once they knew we needed them, they kept some buns and desserts on hand for us for the week we were there. So, only had to wait extra the first time.

B&C used to server Dryers/Edy's ice cream (same ice cream, different branding depending on the part of the country you are in). You can check each flavor on their website or labeling for GF information. You might want to skip the toppings......each additional ingredient adds risk.
