Glue/Tape for Wedding Stationary Projects?

What type of glue did you use for you invitations/menus/programs?

I'm using metallic cardstock and vellum paper and can't seem to get a glue that works very well.

Any recommends for me? I'm on the hunt today at the craftstores

For text weight paper to card stock we used Tombo permenent adhesive rollers. Worked FANTASTIC!!!! We also had pockets which the tombo couldn't quite deal with, so for folded cardstock to cardstock we use glue dot rectangular strips. For cardstock to vellum I would totally use the tombo. It rolled easy and clear and was mess free!

I know a lot of brides have used double sided tape.

Definately the Tombos just make sure you get the permenant ones

Glue Dots are the absolute best.

I also use a lot of 3M - double-sided adhesive tape. You can find this at any office supply store. It is not that expensive - especially if you by a tape dispenser.

ETA: I just reread the OP's post. For vellum - they make a spray adhesive. Please be carefull with using tape on vellum - it often shows through. The spray adhesive "covers" the entire piece of vellum - hence no "tape" line. Another product that I use - is also by Glue Dots, as they make gluedots for vellum Another thought - especially for the vellum - go to a local scrapbook store and see what they recommend.

I used contact cement for all mine. It's what we used in my design and photography classes to mount our projects. The best part was that excess just rubs off, so everything looked crisp. And once you contact cement something together, it's not going anywhere!

I think I'll try Tombo if that doesn't work
