My glucose meter says not to expose it to extreme temps. However, we will be at Disney for 2 weeks in July. I have read from other posts that it is a good idea to test more often, but that would mean keeping my meter with me all day.
What has been your experience with your glucose meters and what do you do with them? Do you leave them at the medical center and go back there to test or do you keep it with you throughout the day? If you do keep it with you, have you had any problems with the functioning of the meter due to the heat?

A Frio or Medcool works well. We have also just used an insulated small lunch bag with frozen packs when we have a full refig at BCV. This won't work as well with the hotel refrigs without the freezers of course. And actually the Medcool would have the same problem now. The little freezer sections in the old hotel refrigerators were large enough for those packs but no more freezers at least in the new refrigerators we've had at the Polynesian.
