Any one know for sure where I can get a Glowtini at DLR? I'll be 21 by the time we go :woohoo: and with all the talk, I want to try one. I don't want to make PS's for a restaurant that doesn't have it..

Here's what they look like for anyone who doesn't know..

Or any other froofy fancy drink I should try?

I'm turning 21 this year too, so I wouldn't know where to find these drinks.. No resturants in DL will have it, that much I know for sure. I've eaten most everywhere in DLR, but I can't say I ever bothered looking at the drink menus.. Sorry. :( Good luck finding it though! It looks neat...

I've read in a review on mouseplanet I think (?) That someone had one at Storyteller's. But I think that was longer than a year ago. I've read that it's the "official drink" of YOAMD at WDW. I don't know if that's the same here at DLR..

I've only had a beer over at DCA, not any mixed drinks, but allears.net has a menu from Cove Bar near Ariel's, with a list of mixed drinks.

I know it was IndyBride on that "what do you buy" thread that mentioned the glowtini in conjunction with DLR, so hopefully she'll drop by to clarify! :)

Rainforest Cafe always has cool-looking drinks, by the way.

Thank you everyone! I'm destined to find that thing..

Yeah allears.net doesn't have drinks on any of their menus..

I'll check out Rainforest though! Thanks! :thumbsup2

I think that in the other thread that Bumbershoot referred to, mentioned the glowtini being at Steakhouse 55 which I believe is in DLH. But that is only my guess... :confused3

storytellers has it for sure, did not have one , but will next trip
wish I could remember the name of the awsome drink at rainforest....its greenish and comes in a souvineer glass........it's awsome!

For Cove Bar it does. Allears is tricky sometimes, so just in case we are looking in separate places:

Boardwalk Blends

Rip Tide Tea - Vodka, gin, rum, splash triple sec, sweet n sour, and a splash of cranberry juice. $6.99

Californian Calypso - Light rum, creme de banana, and pina colada mix. $6.49

Malibu-mer Sunset - Light rum, peach schnapps, creme de cassis, creme de banana and a splash of orange and pineapple juice. $6.49

Shark Attack - Dark rum, orange juice, pineapple juice and a splash of grenadine. 7.25

Wipe Out - Tequila, orange juice and grenadine. $6.49

Ultimate Margarita - Gold Tequila, splash of triple sec, sweet n sour topped with Grand Marnier. $7.95

Lemon Drop Martini - Zone Lemon Vodka, splash of triple sec, sweet n sour with a sugared rim. $7.75

Sour Apple Martini - Pucker Sour Apple Schnapps and vodka. $7.75

Ahhh, so family friendly. :goodvibes

I was reading it again, and there's a significant comma, which makes me think I mis-read it when I got all excited over there. :) "I love steakhouse 55, oh and the million dreams glowtini"....

I want one of those now! I know the rainforest has some light up cups, but not like that!

saw one an hour ago at Storytellers. i kept staring at their table, thought they put something in their own drink!

Whooooooo! Most excellent.

At WDW they are 9.25. Wonder how much are they in Anaheim? (whimper, I'm scared to know the answer....)

PCH grill has booze? Why did I not know that? It was the first place we ate on our September trip!

I'm gonna get me one of those again, for sure! ;) I had one back in October 2006 (at the beginning of YOAMD) at the Rose and Crown in Epcot and it was lovely. :goodvibes

BTW - the glow cube still works from all that time ago, too. :thumbsup2

Ooh, that looks good :woohoo:

"consists of Skyy Citrus Vodka, Blue Curacao, peach schnapps, Sweet-N-Sour, and pineapple juice garnished with a souvenir glow cube."

We're going to Storyteller's on our first night and I believe I'm just going to HAVE to try this - it is in celebration of the YOAMD, after all ;)

I think it was about $10.00 in october, no one else would have one and I was with the boys and DH's nephew and his gf , I felt like Aunt alcoholic if I drank alone.........this trip who cares!:thumbsup2

You shouldn't have felt like Aunt Alcoholic because of 3 words: glowing ice cube. ;)

I will def have to convince my aunt to swing by one of the places serving this when we go in May.

Thank you all so much!! Storytellers it is! WOO! :yay:

The glowing ice cube is what got me too.. I have to have it. Have to. :yay: :rotfl:

My DS12 saw this and said he has to have one too. Uh, no! I said he can probably get a virgin Pina Colada or something and get the glowing ice cube :thumbsup2

I was just looking around online for glow necklaces and such, and found glow cubes.

I have a funny feeling I'm going to get the glowtini anyway, even though my main purpose is getting the silly cube. :upsidedow
