Glow with the show ears

I know that the glow with the show ears work with the mad t party and woc and I heard fantasmic, but do they work anywhere else? I also heard a cm say that they glow orange near the cozy cones. Thanks!

They glow blue and pink at Flo's and White, Green, and Red at Luigi's. They also will go dark on dark rides like Pirates and Haunted Mansion.

I just got off of haunted mansion, and they didn't go off for me =p . Granted I stuffed them in between the both of us in the seat and only turned them on every so often for a few seconds at a time because I didn't want it to be a distraction.

I don't think they can be personalized because I bought them at a kiosk. They do not work with any attractions at wdw right now though.

They don't work with Fantasmic yet. But supposedly they'll eventually work with F! and the fireworks, as well as some other rides.

Also, with the turning off in the dark ride, if they're on when you get on they pass a sensor that turns them off as you get on the ride. It won't work if you randomly turn them on during the ride. When it get off it'll turn them back on again (if they were on before), it was pretty cool!

Also if you bonk ears with another person wearing them they will sync to the same color. These are so much fun to wear especially during WOC!

You may have misread that post - they said that the ears go dark on those rides - meaning they won't light up on them.

Yes, they can be purchased at Disneyland for $25 (actually $23.20 + tax). Don't forget your AP discount!

I don't think they can be embroidered. The battery pack operating the ears is pretty heavy/hard so I don't think it leaves enough room for embroidery (via the machine).

I was hoping I could test these a bit last night before the special WOC, but we didn't get our free ones until 11, right before the show.

Things that haven't been discussed yet is they have an on/off switch, they are really heavy and required the use of bobby pins to stay on my head, and they have replaceable batteries inside (3 AAA). They cannot be embroidered because of the placement of electronics in the hat.

They are on sale several places in DCA (didn't look in DL) for $23.20 plus tax

I thought I read where there is a spcaol WOC ears package that comes with some extras can anyone tell me about it? I know it would be a splurge but hey since I have not figured out how take money with me -- You know for spending in heaven-- I figure making memories is next best thing. We are getting the ears for sure so that I know but if there is indeed a WOC ears special I would love to know.

I still have one of those necklaces that lights up with the parades. Gosh thinking I got it 15 years ago. Do those still work to . I would love to see look on 5 year old grand daughter if it does.

Just an FYI, we got ours at a Glow with the Show preview event and no cast members showed us how to turn it on/off. The switch is a tiny silver button on the side of one of the ears. It actually blends in really well with the design of the hat. They are very cool, but like others have said, heavier than you'd expect.

There's a special package for annual passholders. It comes with the ears, a lanyard, and a pin. You cannot buy the lanyard or pin separately. The pack is $40 (minus your AP discount).
