Glow w/ show Fantasmic video

Well I didn't see this posted but if it is please forgive me

So did anyone else get to see this?
I know there was some concerns that Fantasmic unlike WOC don't have tiered seating, it's all on one level so people might be blinded by the ears directly in front of them and not able to see what's going on in the show.

Well it looks like the ears are shut off for certain portions of the show, like whenever there are actors doing something on the island or the water screens are up the ears are shut off, the ears primarily glow and do stuff when therer are larger things goping on in the show such as the floats and ships (Peter Pan and the Mark Twain finale).

One of the things I noticed with the show still no Flotsam and Jetsom eels in the show. It's a shame as I've never seen them in as many times that I've seen Fantasmic. It's also a shame because there is NOTHING going on during that whole minute and half segment that feels a lot longer, no more Ursula float and it seems like no eels and there is nothing going on the water screens there so it's like a blank nothing for a minute and a half.

Pretty cool! Did you notice the one set of rogue ears that just kept flashing its own colors the whole time?

So at WOC right now, what percentage of viewers do you think are wearing the ears? Do you think sparse use at either show will be more of a distraction than a special effect?

We were able to see the show on Tuesday. Everyone brought their own ears. There was one lady whose ears were not synced who was sitting front and center, and they ended up giving her new ears.

I think I may like this effect better than World of Color. The synchronization with the music was spot on.

This further cements my resolve to buy a pair of ears when I travel in March! Thanks for posting.

That said...how has ear use been at WoC (and I guess Fantasmic, if everyone has been able to enjoy the ears with it now) now that the ears have been around for a while? I love seeing the ears have a huge effect like this, but if only a few people are regularly wearing them at night around the parks I'm worried about having expectations that are too high next spring.
