I leave the house at 4:45 AM on 9/6. We need to brew ourselves some strong coffee.

Thanks for the report. I had worried about Tanya getting caught in the aftermath of Fay. From the reports I am getting it should be clear on Friday when I head out. I hope so.

If not and I do not get in until late on Saturday I may not make it to the Poly beach that night. I hope I do though as it sets the tone for my trip.

Bonzi !! that's what I called you about yesterday... what dates should I book the bounce back for ?? I am kinda thinking the last of Sept, 1st of Oct. next year.. no so crowded restaurant wise and a little F&W to boot

I think I will be going solo, no DH in September

We're going to book either first two weeks or last two weeks. Though I'd prefer last two weeks (F&WF!+less crowds+new AP's for 2010 bounceback), not sure how middle school will react to dd missing 2 weeks, or where we'll be living next year, or whether dh will even be employed so that we have $ to go. Minor details.

I believe that Airborne is the company who just settled a class action suit about whether or not it was effective. I heard that they changed their wording.

Anything that kills germs only does so until new ones come along. Better to build up a resistance to the darned things and let them fight it out.

Who says that men are the stronger sex? Who takes care of sick men? We do and even when we are sick ourselves. Oops, forgot women never get sick, or at least give in to it.

I hope that all fears are unrealized and that everyone is healthy and happy for your trips.

Gustav on Thursday is forecast to cross eastern Cuba before moving into the Straits of Florida this weekend. There is the potential that the system could reach south Florida by Labor Day Monday.
