Glorydaz Halloween Wedding PJ - Honeymoon Photos Added - 1/14/2008

Love the ringbearers! My DF would love to have his black lab in our wedding. I think if we had an athome wedding...we'd definately have her in it :)

well, you could get him an outfit and take some after photos - that would be cute!

:goodvibes hi there fellow brides! so, no new photos to add yet but the shopping frenzy continues!! :rotfl: now I am working on all the little details to pull everything together - I swear, this is more work than all the big decisions!!

thank-you eBay for the coolest favor bags (Bride & Groom) to put our luncheon favors into. Because you know I couldn't just put them on the table, oh no! and now we've had a dilemma as to how to close the favor bags. I made a foray into Michaels ( a very very dangerous place:laughing: ) - yes, I was the woman in the aisle debating over the heart punch, big or small? calla lilly ties or shimmer ribbon? or maybe just stickers - what kind? with words, what color? oh, the big red heart ones might work!! the easy part was getting the rocks for the vases , oh and the battery tealights for our luminaires. don't forget the extra batteries! $49 later, I was outta there!!

back to on-line , a much safer place for me :rotfl: went to Oriental Trading and got my halloween luminaires, caution tape for the guest rooms :thumbsup2 and spooky netting to drape in the greatroom. also bought Keyser's tuxedo shirt - poor Bella's party dress is on back-order. I'll post when they arrive. also bought the dog's ring pillow. and today I ordered Thank-you stickers to close the favor bags - with our names on them - only $6 with shipping for 60! hope I like them!

tonight I dragged poor JJ to the mall and went to Sephora to buy some wedding day make-up. not that you'd know, but I don't wear make-up, hardly ever. yup, so I dropped $140 there !! :lmao:

the good news is it's really coming together...thanks for following along! will add photos soon

Wow, how very cool your wedding will be. When my fiance wakes up I'll have to show him as he's a huge NBC buff. I can imagine that you will have one incredibly fun wedding. Can't wait to hear more. :thumbsup2

thanks so much - we are having a blast putting it all together!! and I am so jealous of you guys - living so close to Disney and the ships!! I just spent my lunch hour reading your TR about the Wonder - loving it!! We will be spending 3 days on board as part of our honeymoon - got a Cat 3 - so it should be a fantastic experience!

Everything looks great... :) Now I wish someone I knew would have a Halloween wedding, hehe.

lol...well, you never know! Halloween falls on a Friday in 2008 and on a Saturday in 2009 so I expect there will be LOTS of Halloween weddings to come!!

ok, so I thought it was time for a little update...Miss Bella got her dress - isn't she adorable?

we still have to add some silk calla's to her outfit...

moving forward, one of my other dilemma's was what to do with any gift cards we received? so I went browsing through - you guessed it - eBay!! and here is what I found. I actually bought 2 ( wasn't sure which one I'd like) but we are planning as using them as garden decorations after the wedding.

open to show sizing - it also has a little latch to keep it closed.

and finally, last night we made our final payments and picked up our wedding bands..I love them!! unfortunately, the picture of mine is not so clear but it's intertwining diamond bands and I fell in love with it at first sight!. my DF's band has a circle of diamonds on either side plus a diamond on top...it's really stunning..can't wait to finally wear them!

I am really very pleased - everything is coming together so nicely - only 11 more weeks to go! :dance3:

Ahhhh Miss Bella looks amazing!! Your wedding looks like it is going to be so much fun...I am wishing I could have a halloween wedding now! I can't wait to see the pics in the TR! Also, I am using an old fashioned looking bird cage for my cards as well and I am going to use it as a candle holder after.

oohh, I like that idea alot! out of all of today's options for holding gift cards, the bird cage seemed to be the most decorative .... and yes, after all this planning, I am hoping it will be as much fun as dreamed!

I wonder, since your wedding is Halloween themed, if you could get one of those pumpkins (you know, the fake kind from craft shops) and make a card bucket out of it?

hhmmm, that's something I did not think of! we are decorating the Inn with ceramic pumpkins with tealights ( thank-you Home Goods!) and we have small ceramic pumpkins and silk fall leaves to spread on the tables set up for our dinner...with black tablecloths of course! I really do like that idea though - will have to look around - thanks! :thumbsup2

Love the little outfit for Miss Bella! My dog is a beagle and she is not happy when I put her clothes on her :sad2:

If you don't mind me asking how much were your card holders? I've been shopping around locally for one too and I haven't checked on eBay yet.

I understand how your dog feels - Bella is my daughter's pooch - our dog, Keyser becomes a statue when you put clothes on him - there's a photo of him in his wedding wear a couple of pages back - too funny!! :rotfl2:

as for the white cage card holder , I paid a total of $22 for that one off of eBay including shipping. I have also bought another one that was 3 times as much but it is stunning! you really have to search through because many of them are the exact same ( heart shaped top) and what I loved about both of these are they are a little different. we had also checked Home Goods last weekend and they wanted $40 for their smaller one, it was made out of wood and was falling apart! too nasty!!

Your card box is gorgeous and I love your little dog's outfit - she is a cutie pie.

I have decided to have a halloween themed hen night and I thought of you. :wizard: I am wondering what to wear? Do you have any pointers as you are my guru on all things wedding and halloween :goodvibes

Kxx

:rotfl: too funny to think I am anybody's guru!! uumm, not to sound silly, but what is a hen night? is it all women? what are the activities? the fabulous thing with Halloween themeing is you can go from regal ( do all Victorian costumes) to Pirates of Caribbean ( loads of fun) to barmaids....and on and on.... let me know what you have in mind - looking forward to hearing!

and thanks so much for your compliments - I will post photos of my second card box in the next few days.

Michelle

:goodvibes I'm not sure what you guys would call it but a hen night is a party for a bride with all her girl friends - does that make sense? :confused3

I would love to go as the Corpse Bride - I've found a lovely deluxe version of the dress and a much cheaper version. I'm not sure I can justify the cost of the expensive one as it's $200 but it's so cute. I've posted photos on my journal if you fancy a peek.

Can't wait to see the photos of your second card box. I've not even thought of that yet... Kxx

Kirsteen, I just took a look - they are both lovely but I too could not justify $200 on the outfit, especially with the wedding coming up but I think this is a great jumping off point for your "hen's" night.. can't wait to see more!
