Not a huge fan of. Just saying. I've got glitter everywhere. :rotfl:

I bought those the first year I sent out Christmas cards, along with glittery ribbon to wrap all my gifts.

Never again! I certainly learned my lesson. I think there was still glitter in the carpet of that house when we moved out.

I'm still drawn to them in the store, so I make my DH remind me of that year all the time so I'm never tempted again!

I put confetti in my daughter's first birthday invitations -- people were not happy with me. :lmao:

I hear ya, I got one here at work. When I took it out, my hands were covered in glitter and needless to say it made its way all over my desk and on my face:rolleyes: I had a friend in high school who used to think it was hysterical to put a ton of confetti inside cards:headache: I never did like her all that much:rolleyes1

I'm not a fan either. Back when I was in high school someone sent my family a glittery card and somehow glitter got stuck to our dining room table and we never able to get it out and we bought a new table a year later.

:rotfl: I hate getting the confetti but I do love glitter. I opened a glittery card in my car a couple of months ago and my car is still covered in glitter. It looks very pretty and magical! :wizard: .

I've also received a card that said, on the back of the envelope, "WARNING! Confetti inclosed!". :thumbsup2

That reminds me of when I worked at Michael's one Christmas and was saddled with doing the floorset for the Christmas picks (all of the fake holly, etc., that people like to shove into wreaths, floral arrangements, etc.) I'd like to smack whoever it was that thought that things like purple-glitter-festooned pine cones were an attractive home decor option. The entire aisle was covered in glitter, as I was I, from head to toe. Two showers later, I was still combing glitter out of my hair.

Oh gosh, we got a card from a former co-worker this year. She makes her own cards, and this year, apparently had a very heavy hand with the glitter. DH opened the card, and I swear, a cloud of glitter came poofing out as soon as he unsealed the envelope. He was covered, and he was NOT amused. :lmao:

I did not laugh out loud at him. (much)

I usually end up with it all over my face. It makes me look like a tween heading to a party.

What's wrong with that? ;)
I like it on ornaments, gift bags, Christmas cards, candles, etc. and if a little gets on your face it looks pretty. :santa:

What's wrong with it is that I am fast past being a tween and in no need of body glitter. pixiedust:

Another person who loves glitter! I was just a Epcot last week and bought a Paris T shirt in the France pavillion that has glitter on it... I wore it on the Backstage Tour and had glitter all over me. :)

OMG - for my DDs 2nd birthday I did a pirate and princess theme - I sent out REAL "message in a bottle" invitations with sand and everything!!! People said they thought the invitations were great.... but thinking back on it, I'm sure they didn't really appreciate the real sand!!!!
