I am sooo happy they added a sleeper chair when they built Kidani.

I'm not sure but my guess is that the recently updated the 1B's to have that sleeper chair. All of the old literature said 4, even the website which would let you book it for 5, even though it only listed bedding for 4. Now the website shows bedding for 5 as does the 2012 layout in the vacation planner so I'm thinking it's a recent change. 2 bedrooms now show as sleeping 9.

I'm sure they have the sleeper chair then. I didn't even bother looking at the 2012 vacation planner since it arrived too late to plan anything other than a winter 2012 vacation.

I'll go take a look at it right after I post this!

What I'll want to know is how the one bathroom works out.

I hadn't even thought of that! I guess the good thing is that we won't be trying to get out the door for ropedrop. Hey, wait...do they have ropedrop for the beach opening each morning?

I can't justify the space unless both kids and possibly "significant others" are along for the ride.

I don't want to think about my kids' bringing "significant others" along for a long time! I'm not ready for that.

I guess I can hope and wait and maybe the point swill shift again in few years.

Apparently Disney thought so too.. I just got off the phone with a "guide" making sure I got my lithograph from the last website presentation and to ask if I had questions.

I got the last litho, but no call...which is fine by me.

He even knew I recently added on. I am surprised he didin't know what I was wearing. He did his homework.

I lurked on your moist exhausting TR. By the time I saw it, I was a couple hundred pages behind. I'm just glad you were still on page 15 by the time I found this PTR, so maybe I can actually try to keep up.

I know, that's a big drawback to when a TR/PTR gets a lot of pages...people can either be overwhelmed and say "nah, too much to read" or skim/read but are afraid to join in because they feel like they're arriving late. I know...I've done it myself.

Well it's sort of a split, you've got 2 sinks. One with the toilet/shower and then another in the master with the tub. Unfortunately no one in my house really uses tubs anymore so unless that toilet is in it's own room....

2 sinks does help though. It will be interesting to see how we do with 9 nights and one bathroom! I guess in comparison you could say we'll have more space there than on the Dream...thanks to the tub. maybe I'll have to start taking tubs!

Rope drop for the beach

Right now I don't see schedules matching up for some time, so despite wanting to get in a treehouse before the points go up, no real reason to try right now.

You can hope, but...don't

I just hope that either transporation improves a bit or enough members comment what a pain it is and then they are left open so they come down a bit. It seems like people will always find a way to go during the "cheap " times and then they shuffle things to raise the points. If they add somewhere, they have to take away somewhere else.

I am sure there is an easier way or an easier section, but 2 busses, that sounds like a trip to have a car.

I think you'll do all right. As a "more relaxed" vacation destination, I suspect that everyone will be on their own schedule.

Vero and AKV...sounds like a great vacation!

We've been to the city of Vero before, but never to the DVC resort so it'll be really cool to check that out. It'll be interesting to see how Disney approaches a non-WDW-area resort. And of course we already know that we'll love AKV!

He says he doesn't want to go to a park...and then is less thrilled that none of the DTD area options have a direct park connection. I suggest AKV for the savanna and he jumps straight to "That's my favorite park" and "That would be a great way to end the trip"



And THEN I reminded him about the 4 one-day tickets we just happen to already have.

I knew he forgot.

I just need the flight prices to work out so I get my way on this one. They seem to be coming down a little...not at the 6 month mark yet so we will see. It only makes sense to do 1 park day if we have 2 nights there, otherwise I don't think there is enough time and it's not a good use of the ticket as I don't think we'd make it there until at least noon.

When I saw they extended booking out to SEpt 27 I checked and booked a flight. My conference this year is in Vegas so I am thinking.... DL for a few days. I booked a flight for a trip to DL on the front end. The flights have gone up $20- 30 since Sunday.

Yay for Kidani! And a savanna view too! Sounds like an excellent plan. I really love the look of AKL and Kidani. We toyed with booking AKL but for a family of five, you'd have to book a stupid suite and that's expensive. Anyhow, I'm sure you'll love being back there. Love the stitched pic too, it came out great! I'm not sure if you've mentioned this or not but is this the first Disney trip with your parents and the kids? Plans are looking good.
