I've still got an 8 hour slog here at work before I jump in my car and head on up. Getting seriously rained on here...5 inches last night, and much more lined up this morning from Hanna. I think my drive estimate to Disney just went from 2 1/2 hours to 4 hours, since I'll have squall lines and heavy rain all the way up!

Now I gotta get to work, so I can wrap up and get out of here!

Yup, bought some cheap like $2.99 red and black at CVS last night and it worked great...I will never use it again though, lol...maybe if I become more Goth

Safe travel wishes to those of you who are on the way or about to be

My nails are done, the housekeeper was here yesterday, the bills are paid, and I'm finishing up laundry today. I still have to write a check to the IRS for my estimated tax payment that's due on the 15th I won't mail it until I get home 'cause I don't want to give them money before I absolutely have to, but I'll go ahead and get it ready.

I just looked at my "to do" list, and everything is done except last minute things. I still have 48 hours before I leave for the airport, so I'm good--I'm just ready to go

We're gonna get wet and possibly very windblown folks

Yep - it's Ike I'm worried about, but it does look like we'll be okay until at least Wednesday. After that, who knows It's definitely a dangerous hurricane
