OMG you guys were busy while I was gone.

Welcome Justin!! Maybe later tonight I will try and get together a list of all our unofficial meets and get togethers so we all know what is going on.

Ok let's see what we have so far

Oh I thought you were going to the studios with us that night K well then just me and Glenda.

And I totally just ruined the surprise tea party to my mom since I needed her to pick out a dress that would fit. She is SOOOOOOOO excited!

that is the dinner with everybody at cape may cafe at 7PM by the time dinner is than the pack at Fantasmic will be wall to wall... that is why I opt to skip it... But I was supposed to hang out with GMAX after lunch... that is what I have in my itinerary... then around 6PM I am heading for dinner...

Oh my!!! Well that is a good sign.. she is coming then right Mandy ???? I my memory serves me right you did mention about her a "not sure" to come....

To be honest, I have no idea how she is coming, but she says she is. I have the great pleasure of working in the same office...so I see how busy she is. She works 8-4:30 then after a 45 minute drive home, she works til 9ish...and all day Saturday...and Sunday. So when I asked her how the heck she is going to be gone for a week..she said they will just have to figure it out She is super excited about tea and the Grand Floridian. Now I just have to get the dresses!

Ok, that makes sense. Our dinner at Cape May is much earlier, leaving us time to hit MGM...errr Disney's Hollywood Studios

I love my mom...and it will be an interesting trip. We haven't traveled together in a while and she is just so excited with EVERYTHING about the trip

I just went with my Mom to the World in Feb. We had a great time. It was nice to be able to take her!!

My mom works like that (in at 5:30am, leaving at 6pm, still working when she gets home..), I'm so glad she is taking this vacation next month because I'd be afraid of her collapsing at some point.

Here's to our moms getting a much deserved break!

Oh, for Illuminations / drinking around the world on the 7th, I might be able to join everyone . I'm not sure if we're going to hang around EPCOT that night after eating, or if mom & bro want to go back to Magic Kingdom since it's open late.. but I'll see.

Oh, I am so jealous. I've received notice that mine have been shipped, but I don't have them yet. I round up not ordering mine from that site. I won a pink one on ebay for $5.99 and also won 25 jibbitz from another seller. I then caved in and bought the graffiti one from Olympic Sports. Hey, I didn't need another bag, but I had to buy something to put all those jibbitz in. I was so wrapped up in looking at the sling bags, that I didn't pay much attention to the back pack style. That's really cute and I love the colors!

Hi and welcome, Justin! I'm Jamie, and I'm traveling solo 9/7-15. First 5 nights at AKV and last 3 at VWL (although I'm waitlisted for BCV and BWV for the last 3 nights). I have several solo meals I'd be happy to share with you, but I'm not at home, so I don't have my ADRs accessible. If you're interested, let me know I know I have LeCellier on the 10th at 1:35 since I posted it earlier in this thread

I may be interested - I usually don't much worry about where we are going to eat, but when I'm flying solo I tend to just do counter service or quick-grab food - might be nice to actually have a real meal at some point. Let me know when you've got your list of ADLs when you get home...I'll mostly be thinking about Sunday & Monday. Saturday I'll probably just hit Rainforest when I drive up, and Tuesday I've got dinner paid for by vendors at my conference.

Hey Justin! On Sunday Sept. 7th, I'll be at AK for rope drop to ride Expedition Everest. Antss and a few others may meet up with me too. So let me know if you want to join in!

Thanks for the compliment, Gmax. I'd love to meet up with you all - but I'm not usually much of a rope-dropper! I'm kind of the opposite - I sleep in on mornings and stay up late at night. I'll pencil it in as a reminder though in case I do happen to get up in time - if not, maybe I can meet up with some of you wherever you are going afterwards.

Depending on where everyone is in AK AFTER the rope drop, maybe I can run into everyone. If not, Illuminations on Sunday night sounds good...just let me know where you think you'll be viewing from and I'll try to find the group. If anything comes up on Monday, let me know - that'll be my last full free day up there. Tuesday I've only got evening, since I'll be at conference that day (I'm actually moving to the Hilton for that final night - since my office pays for it).
