Glenda's September 2008 WDW Adventure!

You wouldn't believe me if I told what I have set aside already...plus there is another load in the washer!! I need to have options..plus clothes to change into if I go back and clean up...it's going to be 90 EVERYDAY!:lmao:

You are my kind of packer. I too must have options. I finally finished packing this past Sunday. I used some ebags packing cubes and some packing folders. Those things are fantastic. I packed enough clothes for ten days, plus five extra outfits, and two dresses in just one 18" packing folder and a medium packing cube.:cool1: I then have all my underwear and nightgown in a little slim cube and all my bras in another little slim cube. Everything looks so neat and organized in my bag and I even have quite a bit of space left over.

And of course Adrian :lovestruc is already done packing  ..... I haven't even done my laundry yet! (That's tomorrow night's project) ;)

Get busy Rich! My mom and I are going through the house scrubbing everyday. She has shampooed the carpet twice in the last two weeks and is scrubbing base boards this week. I have a neighbor's kid coming in next week to feed my macaw parrot and my mom is frantic that the house MUST be spotless. She has all the dust mites fleeing in terror.:rotfl2:

Colleen and I started yet either, we'll pobably start packing Saturday. I always pack the day before I leave. It drives my wife nuts.

   You are kidding right? I'd be in a panic that I'd forget something. The only things we have to do, is get our hair cut tomorrow and our fingernails and toenails done Friday morning, then print off our boarding passes.

PM'd you both. Hope you can join us!

As far as the early CP ADR, sorry, I didn't even think about it being so early. I wanted to get into the park early to get some good pictures of the castle with no one there and just asked for an ADR as soon as they open. Plus both my mom and I are very early risers. I work night shift, so even at WDW I am usually up around 5:30-6:00am and my mom has gotten up at 5:00am her entire life. Now, my husband is another story, we may have to drag him out of bed and dress him on the way to the park.:rotfl: Anyway, we'll see everyone outside the MK gates at the Wilderness Lodge boat dock at 7:30am on Tuesday 9/9, take some picture in front of the castle with no one in them, and then go have breakfast with Pooh and Eeyore.:cool1:

Got the PM--thanks :goodvibes. I was already down for Boma, and I think the only reason I hadn't already committed to CP must have been the time. I usually get up fairly early and have done a couple of EMH before so I should be able to do it :confused3. I also have GFC for lunch that day, and I'm not convinced that I want two TS meals in one day. My thinking now is that if I make it to the CP breakfast, I'll probably give up GFC.

I have a simple philosophy, anything i would forget I either didn't need that bad or I will replace when I get there. We have packing lists made and all of our travel documents are all together. It's really just clothes and toiletries that need packing. We'll go shoping for the main toiletries and just put them in our travel bag when we get home. As we do laundry we'll leave the thing we need out so it's easy to grab.

Should I bring a nice shirt, pair of pants and dress shoes for 8-trax on thursday?:dancer:
