Has anyone stayed at any of the villas on the Glenbrook estate in Orlando.
I wondered how far they were from Disney and Universal.

Hi - We have stayed on Glenbrook several times and it is a very nice area, with lots of amenities nearby. (plus can recommend a lovely Villa there!)

As for travel to Disney, it is around 15-20 minutes, via US27, US192 then onto the new US429 one exit. It brings you in to the back entrance of Disney, past the Coronado Springs resort, into World Drive.

Universal is around 30-40 minutes away up the I4 (traffic permitting).

Does it have to be on Glenbrook?

You could try looking at the websites below for a larger villa, you would find that around the Formosa Gardens area there are a few developments that would be slightly closer to the attractions as they are slightly further south and very close to the 192 junction.

Formosa Gardens, Rolling Hills, Emerald Island and Windsor Hills have a few larger sized homes.

The only reason we picked out Glenbrook was a deal that Travel city direct were doing. 2 families with 9 people £4800.00 inc 2 cars which we thought was a good deal.

Steve, is that price just for villa and car hire? it might be worth looking at the diy price, more than likely be cheaper for you

That sounds pretty good!

Scheduled flights will set you back about £2800 at the moment, so £2000 for a 6-7 bed villa sounds pretty good (depending on how long for of course!)
