Since, even in prison, pedophilia is considered the lowest, scummiest form of crime and the inmates have their own way of dealing with pedophiles, it seems Salling took the easy way out.

It makes me sad that someone with such a promising life ends up being so twisted. Still, it was probably the easy way out for him, and he knew it. No love for his type even in jail. He would have had a worse death there, I'm betting.

I wonder how people like this are wired? I wonder if he ever molested a child, or was molested himself?

I am relieved someone like this no longer shares the world we live in. It would be best if all pedophiles were dead.

There has to be some accountability to the internet for allowing this garbage.

Charter, my Internet and tv provider told me what I am recording on my tv. I am sure if they looked at my internet. They could see my address and see what I am looking at too. Why, oh why is pornography allowed.

It’s usually part of the “Dark Web” or whatever it’s called and really hard to track... According to all of the crime shows I watch haha.

Plus I have heard (again from crime books/shows) that it’s not always downloaded but that these sickos pass these thumb drives around and add their own media to them.

I don't think so. First, you find many pedophiles have a history of being abused themselves. Secondly, from an evolution standpoint, we are hardwired to protect our (and actually other's) offspring. It is instinctual.

I am not a student of psychology, however, so maybe they are wired that way just as a sociopath is. I don't know but I do have difficulty believing it.

While personally not a fan of pornography myself, these two things are just not comparable. "Child pornography" is really a misnomer. It is child abuse, plain and simple and cannot be compared to videos of what consenting adults willingly engage in.

And it won't go away. It is the oldest industry in the world.

I agree with it not being comparable, but porn has ruined many relationships. I know 3 couples getting divorced, because the husbands are addicted to watching porn. One guy has destroyed his computer for his wife and he has to stay away from everything that has anything to do with porn. It still wasn't enough, they are still separated and both are in intensive therapy.

Porn didn't ruin their relationship. The "addict", their behavior and the relationship did. Accountability, a characteristic all need.
