I need new drinking glasses...everyday type (not wine, alcohol).
Any recommendations on inexpensive but quality glasses.
Looking for sets (tall and juice type ...just the two types needed)
Thanks

We've had these for around 6 months. We bought them in the store without reading about them online but I see there are some negative reviews. We didn't have any issues of breakage. Dh is a self-described bull in a china shop and we have 2 teenage boys who also help out loading & unloading the dishwasher. No problems. I like the little indentations; it makes holding it easier.

This past summer I purchased these glasses

I like them. They have a thicker glass. The smaller ones can be stack one on top of another. Or one tall and one short can be stacked together. Both combination are then the same height.

We've had these in our office kitchen for several years and they have held up pretty well. Unfortunately, they have scuffed/scratched, but I don't think we've broken any.

We have an Anchor Hocking set that we like, the small tumblers stack into each other. We bought it pretty inexpensively and they have held up very well.

Do you have an Ikea nearby? I have a couple kinds of glasses from Ikea that I've owned for at least 10 years and never had a break. They have different shapes and sizes and you can usually get 6 glasses for around 4 bucks!

We got some lovely glasses, a set of 16 in 2 sizes, from Costco. They were fine Italian Glass and it was approx. $16.00 for the set, so $1.00 each.

I bought a set at Sam's Club probably 5 or 6 years ago and they have held up really well. It was 12 large glasses and 12 small glasses and I paid around $30. Only 2 of the large glasses have broken and none of the small ones. They are heavy-bottomed and very stable.

I have to second the second on Crate and Barrel. I'm very happy with the quality of their inexpensive glasses and they offer the same pattern in multiple sizes.
