Glasses on thrill rides

I wear glasses, and so does the hubs. Normally when we do amusement parks and roller coasters, I have a cross body or fanny pack for the glasses. If the ride doesn't allow bags, we place them in cubbies right by the loading area, which is not the way USO works.

The last time we went to Universal, it was me, my mom, and two tween ride-chickens, so glasses were never an issue. FJ was the only thing I rode that had bag restrictions, and I ended up holding my glasses b/c I was afraid of them flying off. Obviously, that's not a good idea on roller coasters.

This trip will be different. Dh is coming, and he and I both like roller coasters. We are both blind as bats, and I don't want to leave our glasses in the lockers while we queue. One of the boys has decided he likes roller coasters in moderation. The other might decide he likes them. If he is still a ride-chicken, he can hold my bag and our glasses while we ride. If not, what I am supposed to do with our glasses? And if our older son is going to sit in rider swap with my bag and glasses, will the attendant let us take them through the line?

Thanks!

I would wear cargo pants or shorts and slip the glasses in the pocket and button them in just before boarding.

Ack! Meant to post this in the regular board, not the lodging one...

And thanks for the tip, Sharona. I was under the impression that they don't let people put stuff in their pockets anymore, though.

I didn't have an issue on FJ or Gringotts or Dragon coaster (we didn't ride Hulk or RRR). Of course if your pockets are stuffed it may be an issue but at one point, after losing track of each other while both our phones were in the locker I started carrying my phone in my pocket along with a few small items including my point and shoot camera. The pockets button closed.
