probably a very stupid question but does anyone where their glasses on the roller coasters or do you take them off?

I always take my sunglasses off. It would be a pain to have them fly off!

I have never taken my glasses off (blind without them) and I've never had a problem

i have taken my glasses off and wore them as well while riding Rocknrollercoaster. When i wear my glasses the last loop that you go sideways sorta is when i get nervous about loosing my glasses but they have always stayed on plus i sometimes just hold on arm up and hold on to on side. but without my glasses the ride would be noe fun because i wouldnt be able to see a thing. have fun!!!!

I bought a Mickey eye glass holder (string) so that I would feel secure. They probably would not fall off but I like to have it on. I can't see without them, so I'd rather have them on.

Dh, dd and I all wear glasses. Blind without 'em. We always wear those 'library lady' type things. That way, if they do fall off, they won't go anywhere. Dh wears the croakies at the water parks. Those keep your glasses more firmly attached since they are a band that goes right across the back of your head.

I've always worn contacts at WDW. My mom and sister wear there glasses on all the rides though. :cat:

I was at WDW lost and found the other day, they had a huge bag of glasses !!! Not sure where they lose them all ... but they do !

My bf and I have lost many a pair of sunglasses after taking them off for the ride. You're probably better off wearing them then taking them off. I think the neck string idea is a good one!

Hi,

My husband has to wear glasses all of the time. He rides all of the coasters and he does not remove his glasses.

When I am on a ride that jostles me, I always make a point to hold my glasses with one hand tight to my face. Usually, right index finger to area over my nose until the flip, drop, etc. is over. If I lost my glasses, I would have to go home. I always take my spare along, and definitely wear a croakie at the waterparks. I wish I had enough courage to get LASIK surgery.
