Anyone have a pic or a description of what it is?

I've seen a picture of it somewhere can't remember but it's neat. A white choc. slipper filled with a mouse I think. I'm calling the GF bakery later today to order one or something else. Will be at 1900 Park Fare for my DD's birthday she turns 5. It's a surprise trip.

I ordered this for dessert at GF 1900 Park Fare at the beginning of this month!

Here's a picture:

and here's another one:

Do you think a 5 yr. old would prefer the slipper or mini wedding cake? She loves Cinderella. It's her birthday? Also what is the other thing on the plate with the slipper? It come with it or extra? Thanks. We'll be there on 12/1. I called today to order the slipper.

Looks awesome!! Thanks for the pic! Is it terribly expensive? (if you don't mind my asking)

Do you know if you can order this for a dessert at CRT? We are celebrating our twin daughters birthday there next week and cinderella's slipper beats a cake any day.

Do you have to "pre-order" this or can you get it as part of your dinner?

We are dining at Narcooses and I would love to get this for my wife. The only problem is that is the day we arrive and if we are delayed we will miss our PS.

You'd need to order this in advance. I ordered mine about a week ahead.

I did these last December, and they were a big hit with my DB and SIL. I even specified that 2 of them needed to be SF, and they were mostly able to do it.

They are really rich though, but yummy!!

I hope that you're able to enjoy them....

You should pre-order this with the bakery 24-48 hours in advance. I noticed that you were staying at the GF. Another option is that you can make arrangements to have this delivered to your room through private dining. That way you wouldn't have to be worried about missing your PS. They go great with a bottle of Fairytale Champagne.

Who do you call to reserve one of these? Do you let your waiter know you've ordered one? I'd love to have one of these to share with my DD while we're there at Christmas time!

The slipper is $14 for everything you see in my picture. I ordered it a week before (and you can order it up to 48 hours before). I called 1900 Park Fare directly but because I wanted the mini cake too, they transferred me to the bakery.

The mini cake was $25.

We all preferred the mini cake as the white choc and moose got to be too much but it was yummy, just rich!

There is a restaurant at GF (I think it's Narcooses) that I read has the slipper dessert on their menu. I would called the GF and ask them if that restaurant does, in fact, have it on their menu.

I also have read here that you can get the slipper dessert at dinner at the Castle. You call them directly and ahead of time and then remind them upon arrival.

You must tell the waiter upon arrival of your order.

I definitely preferred the taste of the cake. Not quite as rich.

Let me know if you have any more questions.

I know that's just a typo, but man, it's a funny one! :D

Guess I was in a hurry. Oh well. I cancelled the slipper ordered a cake. For any of you with small kids I talked to the manager of the dining room she said the mousse has a strange taste for kids it has alcohol in it doesn't recommend for small children. We'll we're off in a few hours for the Lodge.

I could handle having a pair of those shoes right about now.:teeth: It looks almost too good to eat, but I'd still eat it.:p
