Glass Prints?

I've seen them before. There are several places that do this so shop around for the best quality and prices if you try it.

There are also several methods you can transfer prints to glass yourself using a color laser print of your image, or an inkjet transparency, and acrylic gel medium. I've tried a few and they're tricky but the results can be very nice. It's a way you can explore this idea on the cheap if you're so inclined.

Thanks for the tips, photo_chick! I'll do some more investigating and shopping around before ordering anything.

Our office is printing some of our projects out on acrylic to put up in our lobby. Our graphic department had to adjust some of the images they sent to the printers as the first samples came out darker then anticipated. Luckily we have a really good relationship with the printing company so we were able to get sample prints made for all of our larger prints to get them just right.

See if you can get a test print if you're going to get a large print made so you can be sure your image comes out how you want it.

That's a great idea. I often reprint after tweaking, which given the price of prints is not a big deal. Have only ordered one large canvas that was expensive and, luckily, it turned out perfect. I never thought to ask for a test print.
