Has anyone done glass etching using etching cream? I want to etch some champagne glasses. I'm hoping it's easy because I'm not real crafty. :earboy2: Anyone?

I have done it a couple times a while back... they have some stencils that help a lot... Michaels had a kit that came with a small jar of the creme plus a stencil and something else... worth a try on something you are not worries about first... but it wasn't difficult with the stencils...
have fun!

I've done it as well. Pretty easy to do. I have the kit ljb9539 mentioned, but I also cut my own stencils using contact paper. (That clear shelf lining stuff.) However, I would say to use the ready made stencils that rub on - they are much easier.

What are you going to etch on the glasses?

I haven't thought that far ahead yet. :teeth:

Thanks for the info. I think I'll give it a shot. Even if it turns out bad, if I fill the glasses enough times with champagne, it'll keep looking better and better! :teeth:
