glass bottom boat excursion

My parents and sister took this excursion in January and were disappointed in it. They travelled outside the breakwall at CC and the water was quite rough. Several people got seasick, however, the guide did have pills to help them. They never saw an abundance of fish but did say it was quite clear. They said they would not spend the money again.

oh, thanks for your info,... We are going in Jan as well, so your info is very helpful. Maybe we should try the Grand Cayman glass bottom boat instead...?

Does anyone else have any experience with this excursion?? We have it booked for next week, but I'm thinking about canceling it. One thing I've noticed is that no one ever mentions it, which is making me nervous too.

I was curious about your question so I did a "search" on this database and read the fist 4 pages of hits that had to do with CC glass bottom boat excursions. From what I read, this is not very popular and the people who took it said either they did not care for it or it was "OK". I can't comment personally as I have never done it - and not likely to do it in the future after my limited research. - Mike

We really wanted to do the one in Key West but it sold out very quickly. Everyone was raving about it. If it were me I would book that one asap.

thanks everyone for the info, it really does help. I guess we should try the tour in Key West then...How is this for children? My daughter is 7, I wonder if she will enjoy it or be bored...anyone have any advice on this?
Also, WDW Nut, I would love to hear how your excursion turns out next week, which ever one you do.
