Has anybody else been watching this over the weekend???

We have Sky+'d loads of it and have been going through the recordings this afternoon. I can't remember seeing one duff performance yet, although I did think some of the swearing was unnecessary (a sign of my age perhaps  )

After considering trying for tickets earlier on in the year I am glad that I decided to stay at home and watch though after friday's storms turned it into another mudbath :teeth:

I agree Alan. We were watching last night before the DS's had gone to bed and I was appalled by the swearing!

There have been some absolutely excellent bands with really impressive performances. The only one that made me cringe was Echo & The Bunnymen :( who I used to love.

I am also glad to have experienced it all from from living room ;)

Saw sone of it last night and it was great, I wonder if any of you can enlighten me as to who were the band on last night with the girl drummer, infact I think it was just a guy on guitar and the girl on drums.

As my daughter is an avid drum player I was telling her all about it today but did not know who they were. I had a feeling it was the White Stripes, but am unsure.

Cheers

Vicki giving it some wellie, future Glastonbury player??

My sister and BIL are there, their first ever time at Glasto. Not heard anything from them but mum says they're having a fantastic time despite the mud!

I used to go to Glastonbury every year before I had my first daughter and it was always one of the highlights of the year for me. The coverage this year on the tv has been excellent, I really enjoyed Elvis Costello Friday night and Coldplay last night were superb - especially liked their Kylie cover. The Beautiful South who are my favourite band were there today playing in the acoustic tent but I've not seen any coverage of their set - guess they're just not trendy enough!

there are 4 certanties in life.
1. people die.
2. taxes rise.
3. politicians lie
4. it will rain at glastonbury

been before and usually enjoy it but after seeing this years line up i decided not to go. wasnt over keen on the list this year. when i was woken at 4:30am by the storms(i live about 20 mins from glasto) i knew i'd made the right choice lol.

LOL Rhys :teeth:

Did anyone see Ian Brown last night? I was shocked by how flat he was!

I didn't see it :(

Was he singing flat or had he been run over by a motor home ;)
