They look like bowling shoes, but at $70 I think bowling shoes might be cheaper.

I thought that too. DH is always warm, so I thought they might be good but that's an expensive shoe to buy sight-unseen.

I just bought a pair of glagla shoes today. So far, I love them.

They are very lightweight and truly keep my feet cool. I was skeptical because I have flat feet but I've warn them all day and they feel fine.

I'm actually thinking about getting a second pair.

I'm taking martial arts classes and think these will be great to wear to class instead of sandals. I'm planning on wearing them often...so lets see what I say in a month.

For some reason your link brought up some kind of search engine for. But doing my own search i found them. Very colorful. I like them but sad to say they don't make my size. Too bad the prices look amazingly reasonable.

My 12 yo daughter has a pair (we bought them at the BigE last fall) and she LOVES them. Now I have to tell you that my daughter never wears socks and she has stinkier feet than anyone I have ever known in my whole life. Normally I have to buy her new sneakers about every 2 months because the stench from them is horrible. But the GlaGlas DO NOT STINK. At all. There are vent holes in the soles and the fabric is kind of mesh-y. Of course they aren't so good in the rain! When they start to look grungy, they go in the wash with no problem.

When she outgrows them, I plan to buy another pair (or two) for her. Now if we could only get ballet and tap style GlaGlas, we'd be all set!!
