Planning my Disney wedding has become extremely emotional for me, and it is good to hear i'm not the only one. I read someone else's comment about seeing the castle and crying, and that sounds about right. Right now, I'm sitting in my office at work listening to Disney C.D's. My fiance always laughs at me for being so obsessed.
I guess it's because he never got bit with the Disney Bug, but I can remember being about six years old and glued to the window of the monorail as we passed the wedding pavilion, and now it is only two months away! Unbelievable.

Now I have some real, Legitimate questions.
I made the mistake of letting my prego sister put all my flowers together, we are doing all silk in pink, yellow, and orange. Very summery. She has taken it upon herself to include some sort of mickey in EVERY single arrangements. For the bridesmaid bouquets, they are carrying pomanders that have mickey ears on top. At first, it was cute, but now I am afraid we have a mouse attack. He's our cake, the invitations, the flowers, my hair, they even made confetti's shaped like mickey for my showers! If I can figure out how to upload pics I'll get some on here...
Has anyone else been attacked with the mouse, do you think guests will think it's tacky being so much mickey, or is it expected being a Disney Wedding? Just wondering if anyone else had this issue.

I was also wondering for anyone else using Whitehall Room & Patio at the GF.... My wedding is in August, very HOT, but I really want the dancing to be outside on that huge patio instead of crammed into the tiny room. I was just wondering if anyone else was doing this?
Thanks you guys sooo much!!

I too starting getting a little worried of a mouse attack. He is on my cake, I have two plushes, I'm going to put some on my veil. It might get out of control. How obvious are the mickeys? In my experience, I've noticed people that aren't into Disney don't notice it as much. The mickey confetti won't be at the wedding so you don't even need to worry about that. Most of the guests won't see it. I'm sure it will be fine. If you like it keep it all.

You sound just like me :thumbsup2

Im a complete Disney nutt;) , i start crying when even the adverts come on tv. I get super emotional when we watch footage of wdw, Wishes has me blubbering like a baby. I think for our planning session in Oct im gonna start crying on the plane leaving UK & probably wont really stop till we get back home.

I ve found the whole process leading up to now a very emotional one, we ve had to wait a long time just to get to the booking stage so i ve been living the last few years literaly waiting for this day to come as we just received our contract:woohoo:

Thing is im not normally an emotional person, ok i cry at animal programmes but thats it. Before my df suggested a Disney wedding i liked Disney but it was nothing really special to me. Now im the complete opposite, for the past 3 years its in a way become a very big part of who i am. I ve become such a big kid, it makes me very happy. Planning my wedding is in all honesty what has gotten me through some very hard times recently, its been a ray of hope & positivity. So like you im just Disney Mad

Hey! We get married two days before you! We have the GF Whitehall and Patio ~ I know the Patio has some A/C and so I too am hoping we can dance out there, but I'm thinking we might end up staying indoors just for the AC at that time :)

I have similar colours to yours ~ I'm looking forward to seeing how yours turn out!

Haha, me too! I don't know why either! A few of the parts in March of the Penguins just ripped my heart out.

At first, it was cute, but now I am afraid we have a mouse attack.

Haha, at first I was very horrified for you because I took you quite literally. "Mice?!?" I wondered, "Why would mice be attacking her silk flower arrangements?" I get it now though. I'm a natural brunette and will be a Disney Bride, so I really have no excuse for not understanding you were talking about Mickey :rotfl:

Haha.. Thanks you guys. I found out today that my bridesmaids will also be wearing little crystal mickey pins on the backs of their dresses. It was my original idea, but it just adds to the attack! lol
Thanks again for the advice, I guess our wedding guests expect us to be covered in Mickey's, my family has had annual passes since before I was born.

And thanks for the info about Whitehall, I just don't want to cram everyone inside when the patio is so huge!!
Also, did you go with the toole for the ceiling. We were going to until we heard how much it was.. We also tried pricing some twinklie lights for the exsisting landscape around the patio.. but that came up to be 2700 dollars.. so needless to say, we won't be doing that!

If I can figure out how to post pictures, I will. I have my bouquet and my bridesmaid, and a flower girls done... Are you also going with clover dresses?

I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures! No, my bridesmaids are in ice blue :) Clover sounds lovely though!

Ha ha ~ no tulle or twinklie for us either! *eek* We're only there until 4pm then we move on so it wasn't worth it for us.... If we were there when it gets dark, I might have reconsidered but as it will still be light there was no point :(

Thats true. Nightime makes a difference. My reception starts at six, and we will be at whitehall until 9:30 when we head to Sago Cay for the dessert party. But I still cant justify spending that much money for something so insignificant!
