Glacier National Park ABD

Has anyone been on the Glacier National Park trip? Hubby is very interested in going, but I have not seen any reviews. Any help would be appreciated!

I was supposed to go on this trip last year, but it was canceled. I haven't heard a thing from anyone who's been on this trip, so I'll be interested to see what kind of responses you get. I'd really love to know how this trip is.

Did they cancel due to lack of interest? Just finished reading your Southwest Splendor trip. That sounds like a great trip too!

ABD over estimated interest on a lot of their itineraries last year and ended up cancelling many trips. The have significantly reduced the number of dates for each trip this years, so cancellation is not as likely.

Yep, as Bobo912 said, ABD kind of over-extended themselves last year, adding new itineraries and a *ton* of additional departures, and then the economy tanked. So they ended up having to cancel and consolidate a lot of trips due to lack of sales. I wanted an Adults Only trip, plus I really couldn't shift my vacation time by that much, so I opted to switch to the Adults Only Alaska trip rather than do a non-Adults Glacier trip on a different date.

So far, they seem to have done a *much* better job this year, offering far less departures, and I don't think I've heard of any cancellations this year (although I'm old, and could be mistaken! ) I hope it continues to be the case!

And thanks about the Trip Report. It *IS* a great trip! I still think it's one of ABD's best itineraries.
