My son's MAW was in December 2012. He was re diagnosed with his cancer in April 2013 and fought a long and hard battle until Christmas day, when he earned his angel wings. Needless to say, his 2 brothers did not have a Christmas. I was wondering if GKTW would give them a pass or something to make sure that they had a VERY SPECIAL commemorative time when we visit in March. Has anyone else done or gone through a similar experience???? Any insight would be very helpful…...

When you say pass-do you mean tickets?

I believe MAW and GKTW only deal with the child on the wish trip, but the family is welcome to return to visit.

There is no pass available for what I believe you are wishing for. That is only given to MAW children.

I hope you still have a wonderful visit in March. I'm very sorry for your loss.

I'm so sorry for your loss!

I do not believe that the GKTW deal with siblings after the MAW child has passed as they would have to do this an awful lot, imagine how many siblings go through this,

I truly hope that you manage to make this trip special, after having such a tragic time over xmas and your hearts start the healing process soon.
Xx

If by pass, you mean free tickets, I'm not sure how this would make a visit more special for a child. If you mean something else, please clarify.

My condolences.

1) If your family are alumni of GKTW, you are ALWAYS welcome back. *
. . . the actual MAW child
. . . the immediate family
. . . this is even if the MAW child has passed
2) You can visit anytime during the day and enjoy the Village campus.
3) They do not issue park tickets or other off-Village admissions.

* I see alumni all the time when I work at GKTW. A few have even come up
to me and said "Hello". I make THE BEST single-scoop ice cream cone. My
secret is putting three scoops in the cone or cup!

:thumbsup2
