Sharing Our Itinerary!

Five days away, and I realize that I haven't posted a final itinerary to share! I have pretty much finalized ADRs and cancelled what we didn't need. I think this is the schedule! :woohoo:

Sunday

AM:
-Hit the road bright and early. A little over 3 hours later, we will be in the BCV lobby checking in to our villa. I know we probably won't get our room at that time, but at least our check in will be in the works!

-Head to DTD. Exchange vouchers for our APs and purchase Tables in Wonderland card (grrr, it just had to go up in price right before we got there!) Perhaps eat at Earl or the (cheaper) of the Wolf Gang's. I then want to fill a Mr. Potato box with more pieces for the collection we already started (thanks ebay).

PM:
-Weather permitting, enjoy Stormalong Bay at our resort and a nap for Miss J.

-Dinner at Cape May!

-Stroll Boardwalk and enjoy resort decorations in our area. Perhaps toast a marshmallow on the beach!

Monday

AM:
-MK at Rope Drop. I know it is not a recommended day, but I wanted to squeeze in more FL time for DD. We will focus more on Adventureland and some FL rides.

-Early CS lunch, probably at CHH. DH might want a pork shank at Gaston's Tavern.

PM:
-Nap/rest at resort.

-Drive over to DHS to enjoy some of the attractions like Disney Jr. show.

-Dinner at 50's Prime Time Cafe

-Osborne Lights and I'll sneak a ride on Star Tours before leaving.

Tuesday

AM:
-EPCOT at rope drop. Enjoy some stuff in Future World like Crush, Nemo, and Test Track (just to see the new version).

-Early CS lunch. Maybe some fish 'n chips in England.

-Nap and rest up for an exciting late afternoon and night time at MK!

-We will enjoy some pre-party time on Main Street.

-First haircut at Harmony!!

Maybe we'll run into you at Epcot on Tuesday, that's our planned Epcot day.

Sounds like a great line up! First haircut at Harmony? How sweet!!

We're doing both Biergarten and San Angel so I'm really happy to see that you enjoyed both! I think I'm looking forward to Biergarten more, though.

Our Monday starts out the same! We have Chef Mickey ADRs at 7:05 so we should be at RD with plenty of time to spare. Probably a mistake on our part but I plan to head straight to FLE! We'll be there at RD the next day too but that's our fast pass day so that places us in Tomorrowland at 9am. Anyway, I digress......lol.

Tuesday is our MVMCP also. I wish we could have been lucky enough to get BOG ressies for tuesday.....what a fun way to start off your party! I'm happy to be able to go on Wednesday, though....so no complaining on my part.

Doesn't it feel surreal to have all these plans and realize they will be materializing in less than a week? yeah!!!! :cheer2: I know that this trip will be so special for your family. My kids were almost 5 years old when we went for the first time.....so nice for you to live close enough to take a little road trip and go to WDW whenever the mood strikes.....your daughter will be a pro at all things Disney before she hits kindergarten!

This looks like an awesome schedule! I wish we had days that overlapped, so I could say hi in person!

You know you are officially ready for your Disney trip when:

-You look for your underwear, and realize it's already packed.

-You log onto the Disney dining site and are suddenly bored as you have no ADRs to search for anymore (not even for fun).

-You start doing touring plans for your friends who are also going in December, but do not know the ways of being a planner.

-You've made ever tweek possible to your own touring plans, testing out every potential snag or toss up.

-You have nothing left to post on your PTR.

-You have memorized the exact shows time when Mariachi Cobre will appear.

-Your are posting a stupid list like this on your PTR and Dec Roll Call thread.

Your schedule looks great! To me anyway.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is planning park hopping for ADRs.

Maybe we'll run into you at Epcot on Tuesday, that's our planned Epcot day.

I'll be on the lookout. You will be easy to spot because I have seen your avatar for months on the Roll Call thread!! :thumbsup2

Sounds like a great line up! First haircut at Harmony? How sweet!!

We're doing both Biergarten and San Angel so I'm really happy to see that you enjoyed both! I think I'm looking forward to Biergarten more, though.

Yeah, can't wait for the first haircut. Not sure how she will during it, but there ought to be some fun pictures that come out of the whole experience!

I do love both restaurants. One is more romantic, while the other is louder and a bit more fun.

Looks like a great plan to me! You're almost there!!!

Sweet! Four days!!!!!!!! :dance3:

It's totally surreal! It's been sooooooooooo long and now it's just about to begin!! Maybe we will bump into one another at MK or MVMCP. I will have a LGMH on my lanyard (the pouch that holds tickets etc).

This looks like an awesome schedule! I wish we had days that overlapped, so I could say hi in person!

Bummer!! Maybe next trip! Weren't you think October? That's a great time of year for a Disney wedding. (I keed I keed, kinda.)

Ahh 4 days thats awesome!!! So excited for your DD!!!

My too!!!! I feel like skipping around my office.

Please all rise and cue up Pomp and Circumstance...

Announcing, Miss J, a December Graduate of Disney Parks University!!

2s5zar6.jpg

After 11 months of 'training' DD to love all things Disney and be ready for her trip, I believe she is all set to explore Walt Disney World and be thoroughly entertained.

Course completion:
  • 20+ viewings of the old early 90s DVD: Sing Along Songs - Disneyland Fun
  • Multiple reading of Meet Me in the Magic Kingdom by Kathy Jakobsen
  • Talking about the 40th Anniversary of WDW Shag print that hangs in her room
  • Countless sessions of watching You Tube for ride footage, Wishes fireworks, & character interaction
  • Mickey Mouse Clubhouse/Minnie's Bowtoons becoming a favorite (though Gabba still is her #1)
  • Successful name and visual identification of the main Disney characters
  • Reviewing a FB album created by her ridiculous mother of all the character pictures taken so she can see Mommy and Daddy with Donald etc.
  • Can now sing a long with some classic Disney ride soundtracks

Extra credit: Apply all knowledge during an actual Disney vacation.

Lol. Good job mom! And congrats to Miss J! And to celebrate this graduation, you should....... Go to Disney World!!!!:dance3:

I just saw your plans... BCV is Beach Club right? Funny... Sunday morning we are having our farewell breakfast at Cape May Cafe! We will be there from 10:00 am- 12:00 pm... We might see you!!!

I like the way you think, Val!! You think I should take on a new class for 2013? Perhaps I can make some money as teacher and Dean of DPU! :thumbsup2

Yep, Beach Club villas. We should be checking in around that time. Maybe I will sneak in an congratulate you if I can. (We are eating at CM for dinner that evening).

This is when planning almost becomes depressing -- no more tweaking the ADRs!

Have a safe drive and a wonderful, magical trip! I am already looking forward to your TR. :goodvibes

Thanks!! I actually go sick on Wed night and have been running a fever with a sore throat. Tested negative for strep this morning (thank goodness). Just hate being sick right before our trip and hoping I can shake it or most of it off by Sunday. UGH!! Of all times!! I have been so vigilant with hand washing and taking vitamins. So many people at my work have gone in to work sick as dogs, so it was bound to get to me. Wah. :sad2: Just hoping the rest of my fam doesn't catch it.

Oh, no! I hope you're feeling better today and that you're all well by tomorrow ... and especially that Miss J and your DH don't get it! Fingers crossed.

Our office is the same way; it's like a plague has been going around. I hate it when sick people don't take sick days!

We leave TOMORROW!

I have tears in my eyes as I type this. My daughter is in the other room with DH and she is singing along to IaSW! She also just mentioned the "castle", going to "Dizzzzzney Whirl" and that "Santa Claus coming soon!" :santa:

I have been sick the past few days. It was hard to get super excited as the fever came quick. It just felt like a big bummer that I could look forward to something for so long, then get sick right before we go. BUT---- the tears are because I feel better today. My DD and DH are excited about going tomorrow. It's all going to be okay! yay. :wizard:

Got to buy some snacks and breakfast goods for the weeks. A couple last items to check off the list, and then we are ready to head out tomorrow, bright and early. :moped:

Want to wish you and your family a wonderful trip!!! So sorry I did not keep up with this report- I haven't been making it over to the Pre-trip world for the last few months.

Dee
