Hi everyone, I'm new to these forums so I'm excited to join the community! I'm after some advice regarding giving gifts to other guests at Disney. My husband and I are visiting the happiest place on earth for the first time in October/November and are attending both Not So Scary and Very Merry. I would love to spread the Christmas cheer by giving out bubbles and glow sticks to a couple of families at Disney (maybe those with little kids who seem a bit grumpy or tired). I'm not talking about setting up a stand or giving away hundreds of bits but if I had a small bag or basket of gifts would I be breaking any Disney rules or risk being asked to leave? Thanks in advance :)

I'd say you're probably pretty safe so long as the items in question are rather small and don't have any competitive branding on them. Personally, I bring stickers in case I run into grumpy kids who need a pick-me-up, or kids who are having birthdays and start to chat me up about it (completely happened once-- adorable!). They're Disney stickers, of course, and no one has said anything to me yet. I feel safe with stickers since they're quite small and harmless, and carry no (well, minimal) risk of a mess. I think small bubble wands are probably OK, but as always make sure it's OK with the parents. Not sure on the glowsticks since they sell something like that at Disney. I'm guessing small ones are fine. Mind that both contain liquids and that can be iffy for younger children.

Such a sweet idea, too! :) Have fun!
