well, from what I understand to change names the loan must be completely paid off. If it is I am not sure. godd luck!

If you are truly talking about giving your contract to your cousin without any consideration at all from your cousin to you, call DVC Member Administration. It's the same 800 number to reach MS, but listen to the choices and select the number for Member Admin.

Ask them for the letter that has the instructions on how to change the ownership interest in DVC . You do NOT want the letter that tells you how to sell your contract. If you leave an email address, they can email it to you.

Briefly, you will have to get a ROFR waiver, pay off your loan (if any) in full, and pay up your dues for the calendar year. After that, you have to make your own arrangments to complete the transfer - i.e., get a new Deed. Disney will encourage you to use an attorney or other qualified real estate professional to do this last part.
