I have found it to be impossible for me to get 85 ghosts. Here is why:

1: I use a mac computer and is extremely slow and can quit at anytime

2: Everytime I complete a round the computer gets so much slower that my countdown screen is still going on while everyone else is catching ghosts

3: When i play with 2 or more players VMK crashes(not the DC screen)

4: At exactly :38 seconds left in the 3rd round VMK automatically crashes

So im still willing to help anyone who needs it. Also i know people suggest to go to a friend's house but everytime i mention VMK to my friends they say shut up. So i have no other choice. Ty everyone that helped me out and i appreciate it

I use a PC and get some of those problems.

Go to the libary. And see if you can play on their computers. Just make sure you are signed out before you leave the computer.
