Give me your reviews for Liberty Tree Tavern - Dinner Only

When we went last time we all enjoyed it(dh and 4 kids) I booked it again for our upcoming trip.

DH and I have eaten at LTT twice for dinner. The dinner is a character meal, and we had a really great time. The atmosphere is fun, the servers are always really nice and stay on top of everything. The food certainly isn't anything spectacular, but it's decent and all you can eat.

We've eaten at other character meals at WDW and this one seems to be the least rushed. Which is great!

Hope you enjoy!

Not my favorite... If you like plain, unadulterated, not fancy, Stouffers food you will be happy- if you long for a little adventure and spice in your food you'd best look elsewhere.

We liked it. We were there last Thursday night, the food was fine. DH in particular loved the mashed potatoes, although nothing was very fancy. Our server didn't rush us at all even though it was busy and ensured that every character came to our table before the end of our meal. We'd definitely do it again, especially since we were able to just step outside after the meal and had good spots for the parade.

We love LTT. I really like the whole thanksgiving type dinner thing. Nice character interaction.

We loved it. I've personally been there twice for dinner and found it to be wonderful each time. It is simple, yet well-done American classics. You can't go wrong with the setting and the character interaction is amongst the best.

We just got back from WDW today,we were there from 05/05-05/13 we ate at LTT for dinner one night & the character interaction was great, we took tons of pictures and they got around to every table more then once! The food was OK. The Mac & Cheese was great, but the meat was kinda dry. Overall i would definitely go back just for the characters!

We were on the fence with this one because of the wide mixed reviews, but we ended up LOVING it. It is the one place we all want to go back to next trip. We thought the characters were great and we even enjoyed the food, which I was really worried about. :thumbsup2

If you are thinking that LTT is gourmet food, it is not. This resturant is sponsored by Stouffers. If you love food by Stouffers food, than your gonna love the food.

You also have to think that it will be served like a meal at home with the family. Everything will be brought to your table and you will pile up your plate. I myself love the food and eat there at least twice each trip.

The Characters come by and will pose for pictures. I also love later seating so you get more time with all of the characters.

Yeah I already know all of this. I know that the dinner is served family style, which I dont mind at all. We are doing Ohana Breakfast and its the same way. It doesnt matter if its family style or not. But thats just me. And yeap, knew it had Stouffers food as well. My only fear is how good is it and is it really worth the cost? For DH and I it will be $68 including tip and tax. I like the stouffers mac and cheese. And seems kinda hard to screw that up. Someone mentioned earlier kinda hard to screw up meat. I for one can tell you, that is beyond not true. You can screw up meat. You could cook it to long making it dried out or not cooking it enough and give yourself food poisoning. Im seriously gonna have to think about this. Maybe once we get to Disney I can check to see if they have an opening for the night we might do it, and if they do we could go but if not, oh well. No harm done. Or maybe go ahead make an ADR and if we decide to not go to it, I can cancel it while we are down there. Or maybe I will just leave this alone and wait until next time we do Disney. I mainly wanted to eat here before a party and next time we plan on going in December 2010 and do MVMCP so maybe I will just save it for next time.

We really enjoyed our meal and character interaction at LTT. Great service. Would definetely go back to LTT.

DW and I ate at LTT last December, and it was fine. The sides were good; the turkey was good; and the rest was OK.

But if you're not into character dining, perhaps you could try one of the restaurants at the Grand Floridian, the Polynesian, or the Contemporary, all just a quick hop on the monorail away?

Although it may have Stouffer's mac & cheese, the food is not all from them. There's fresh meats, sides, salad, and breads. It is very good comfort food.

No one is stating it to be 5-star gourmet, just plain ole' Americana.

We went once. That was enough, we won't go again. The food wasn't worth the money or the time we spent waiting to be seated.

But, like I've seen advised on this board many times, try for yourself if you're so inclined, you may love the place!
