:flower: Ok..... So next Winter, going for a quick, one night stay with some relatives.... just to hang out, enjoy the atmosphere, and eat. Thinking Disney Springs, with all the new places to try, might be fun.(also scared off by some of the prices I'm seeing at these places,I have cheap relatives:rotfl:) So...... what do YOU recommend? What non-park places should I bring them to? My first favorite place for dinner has always been Boma..... but they may enjoy other things more. I'd like to possibly enjoy faraway fireworks views(not in parks and just places that feel.... disney with atmosphere! Maybe Kona cafe? any advice appreciated!

Boma has always been a major favorite for me. There food and selection is to die for! Plus, AKL is such a beautiful hotel! Lots to looks around and explore!

In Disney Springs, I love Raglan Road. Amazing food and the service has always been just as good. I've been going to Raglan for years now as it is a family favorite. The atmosphere is well worth the visit with the Irish dancing entertainment. The entertainment is free of charge and comes right along with your dining seat so you get a 2 for 1 deal pretty much :)
Homecomin' at Disney Springs is a favorite of mine too. Coming from a southern girl herself, I can say that their southern cooking is some of the best I've ever had and truly authentic.

Of course, if fireworks are on the mind, Kona Cafe and Ohana have remarkable reviews. You can easily watch the fireworks and the electric water parade from the Poly. Another "famous" firework restaurant is the California Grill at the Contemporary. It's pretty much the go-to spot for firework viewing and the entire Magic Kingdom as the restaurant sits directly on top of the resort. Yes, you get the best view here, but be aware the menu is quite pricey in my opinion.

You're on the right track. Watch fireworks from hotel and hang out at Disney Springs since both are free. There are plenty of economical restaurants at DD to grab a bite to eat.
