I was just thinking about the Mickey Mouse Club, and I don't remember it well (I am 31!).

Who remembers the Annette and Bobby days? or the more current Brittany/Christina days?

There will be a prize involved for the best memory, so plug away....

I'll tell you if you win... ;)

Lets just say I have something vintage.... I found today, and it needs a good home in a DIS'er household....

ok, i remember the justing timberlake/kerri russell days. My little sister was in LOVE with JC and Justin and everytime the show came on she'd say the same thing, "They should sing together!" then i'd laugh, tell her they can't sing for the life of them and drool over one of the other guys. Now, look there in *N'Sync. Everytime they come on MTV my sister laughs and says, "i told you so!!!".

My memories are from another lifetime.....when the Mickey Mouse Club was in black & white....and the kids from that show are now grandparents. I loved the costumes and I think I had my mom create one for me to play in. The days of the week were:
Monday - Fun With Music Day
Tuesday - Guest Star Day
Wednesday - Anything Can Happen Day
Thursday - Circus Day
Friday - Talent Round-Up Day

Ironically I was too young to be one of the original Mouseketeers and too old when it had it's first reincarnation in 1977.

I faithfully watched the original. Loved Annette and Bobby, but Karen and Cubby were my favorites because they were closest to my age. I also liked Roy.

Ah, yes the talent Rodeo.

Memories.

I loved the Hardy Boys Mouska-serial. Big Moochie fan. Cool little kid.

Annette & Bobby, then going to grandma's & Grandpa's & seeing Bobby dancing on Lawerence Welk.

Jimmy & Roy, Darlene's smile, little Karen & Cubby, & Doreen.

Today is Tuesday, you know what that means,
We're gonna have a special guest
Get out the broom
And sweep the place clean
Dust off the mat
So the welcome can be seen.

Roll out the carpet,
Strike up the band,
and give out witha "Hip Hooray" ("Hip Hooray")
Wiggle your ears
Like good Mouseketeers--
We're gonna present a guest today
'Cause Tuesday is "Guest Star Day!"

I wasn't even alive for the original run, but I have always loved watching the black & white episodes from the 50's. I was pretty sad to see Vault Disney yanked from the Disney Channel. Whenever I had insomnia, I'd tune in.

I liked the little mini series they would do! Annette ones, Spin and Marty ones, and then the ones with Darlene. I really did enjoy them!

Watched it every afternoon right after school. Of course Annette was my favorite. I thought Spin amd Marty were so cool and wanted to go to a dude ranch like them. A great show it was.

"The Mystery of the Applegate Treasure" with the Hardy Boys:D Who was that annoying neighbor girl? Was her name Iona?
