We will be staying at VWL during our October trip. We stayed at WL before, but that was long before(okay only a couple of years) we joined DVC. What can you tell me about it. We visited the pool on that side, and I think I remember seeing the doors to the villas, but I'm just not sure. Anyhow, is all the food and everything the same as for the WL, or do the villas have something separate.
I seem to recall that the villas were quite a hike from the lobby, but now that I've stayed at BCV I don't know if it really is that far, or I'm just used to staying close to everything.

Thanks

The villas do not have any restaurant or bar of their own. The only facilities that the villas have in addition to WL are the laundry room, the Sturdy Branches health room and its own "lobby" area with a nice multi-story atrium and its own private sitting area called the Iron Spike room.

Other than that, all the amenties of WL are available to VWL guests including room service.

The distance to the lodge is way overblown. It is not far at all, and can be navigated via a covered walkway.

I think you will enjoy this DVC resort quite a bit. :)

VWL is connected to the WL by a covered walkway and the two building are only about 25 yards apart. It's really a short walk from the WL lobby. There are no dining/food court facility with VWL. There is a health club on the first floor as you enter from the quite pool side.
The quite pool is really nice for small children, not crowded like the main pool and life vests can be checked out from the recreation shack by the docks.
Iron Spokes room off of the lobby has chairs and tables for kids to play on. Very quite place to relax or play a game of checkers. If you enjoyed WL, you'll love VWL.
