Where can I get a good milk shake. I've had them from Ghirardelli and were really good, but can't find another location around WDW. I always end up at McDonalds. Thanks

Best milk shake I had was at the SciFi restaurant. I usually try to get there in the mid afternoon for a break and that's what I order.

Another vote for Sci-Fi.

We like to go in the late afternoon and just get milkshakes and onion rings. There is usually little to no wait and it makes for a fun place to relax.

Beaches and Cream, a meal in itself - my favorite - i'm drooling
second favorite is Prime Time
never tried them at Sci Fi

Don't drink them myself but my family loves the shakes at the Plaza restaurant in MK.

Whispering Canyon's was good and 50's PTC was awesome. My personal favorite is a chocolate shake with french fries on the side!!!

I'll second the vote for Beaches and Cream. They have great everything ice cream.

Wispering Canyon's milkshakes, while not the best in the world and probably from a machine (as opposed to B&C where they are made the old fashioned way) can be an experience. Last time we were there the server told us what flavors they had, and my friend asked for peanut butter (which wasn't on the list). They actually made him a peanut butter milk shake - and named it after him. It was the "Bubba" special.

DTD.... Ghiradelli's chocolate milkshakes or malts.... really good.

MGM.... Sci-Fi chocolate shakes.... also really good, lunch....fair.

Plaza and Sci-Fi are both great.

Mrs. Potts Cupboard in Fantasyland is good for counterservice.

The best milkshake I ever had at WDW was (believe it or not, and I know it sounds gross) a peanut butter and jelly milkshake at 50's Primetime. My DS ordered it, but I ended up drinking most of it!

My dh and sons like Prime Time, Beaches and Cream and Whispering Canyon (the latter because you get free refills, I think). My dh likes black and whites (a chocolate shake made with vanilla ice cream and chocolate syrup), and only places that do them the old-fashioned way can make one. Our server at Sci Fi told us they couldn't b/c their milkshakes come out of a machine already mixed like at McDonald's. DH was not impressed.

Ghirardelli's are our favorite. Beaches & Cream are great, too. They bring you the shake or malt with the leftover in the metal container-just like the good old days!

Another vote for the peanut butter and jelly shake at Prime Time! You can go into the Tune In Lounge and get one to go, too.

Oddly enough, the best milkshakes we had were YC Room Service. I bet between the three of us we had 10 or 12 of them the week we were there!!

We got sick from the Milkshakes at Sci-Fi. But, that's just us. But now that I think about it, there were a few people who got sick in the restaurant bathroom. I guess it was a bad night.
